We had a balcony in Room 5, but it went unused as the weather did not cooperate. But we had a wonderful view from the sliding doors in our room. This room had a shower only which was great for us. Beds are comfortable. My...More
We came upon this motel and ended up staying for a week! The owners are super friendly and helpful. The room was great - very clean and comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! Truly a gem! Would highly...More

We went in September, and do not remember a BBQ. If there was one, it would have been very small. We didn't spend a lot of time at the motel, as Peggys Cove was our main destination. They had two adirondack chairs set on the beach at the motel. The beach is fairly narrow, but the view is very nice.
They do have a general store on the main road not far from the motel which may have supplies. One word of advice, depending on when you go, the mosquitoes are horrific. Even with jackets and long pants, these guys were all around us. We didn't have this same problem with insects at the light house.
Have a great trip!
