We arrived at night and at dawn the scenery was beautiful, in front of a lake. It has a barbecue. Very quiet place near Algonguin Park. The village to buy is about 10 minutes by car. It has a pedal to be able to go out by the lake

This motel is located on an abandoned golf resort and looks a bit quaint from the outside but the rooms are super clean and comfortable. The property has a lake and you can canoe on it. There is a pedal boat and life jackets for use I believe also. A good choice for us.

We came up for friends' wedding anniversary and needed a place to stay for two nights. This place is an excellent hidden little gem. It's very clean and had everything we needed. We asked for extra pillows and Bethany was more than accommodating. It was also quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the lake, complete with a pair of loons in the water to greet us. We will definitely be coming back to this location. 👍😊👍

Very friendly owner of the hotel. Absolutely nice rooms, everything looked quite new and very clean. The hotel is in front of a nice lake, beautyful spot. The golf place, close to the hotel is good for a walk.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay there! The owner welcomed us very friendly and the new rooms with a great view to the lake are wonderful...everything is completely clean and looking warm and friendly. We can absolutely recommend it! It is worth to drive out of the park and to sleep there!

I have seen the signs and decided to stop in and play a round of golf. It is a nice scenic golf course cut through the hills. It is a tight course so bring a few balls. There are a few holes where it is a blind green. I do not recommend walking this course. It is very hilly and there is a walk between some greens and the next tee.
There was not much winter kill which was nice and the greens were very slow. A little rain would make the fairways green.
They do have a signature hold which is a very challenging par 3 with an elevated tee.
Oh yes there is a pond just to the right of the green as well.
The owner is very friendly and making improvements to the course. Surprisingly not many black flies.
I would play it again when I am in the area.

We stayed 2 nights. Only 3 cottages, but we loved the peaceful and quiet area. With a view if the lake makes it even better! The caretaker Mary - Anne was such a lovely lady and made breakfast for us every morning. Rooms are spotless clean and very comfy. It is an hour drive to algonquin park.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night. The rooms are clean and the vaulted ceilings make them feel even more spacious. There are only three rooms on the 9 hole golf course , they over look a small private lake and only minutes into town. The beds are comfortable and a great pillow selection.

A sweet place. Beautiful location, smile of the owners. And the view on the lake from the room is awesome.
9 holes golf course ...
Between Ottawa and Gravenhurst, south algonquin area.
Un bel endroit. Et la vue sur le lac est magnifique.
Entre Ottawa et Gravenhurst, région du Sud algonquin.
