My second time at this hotel. The hotel is spotless inside and outside. They did not clean the room while I was staying there because of Covid. But it does not matter, all you have to do is ask for towels or whatever you need and you get it.
The room has everything you need, coffee maker, flat screen television, microwave and fridge. Good showers and very comfortable beds. When you leave they clean extremely well. Clean blankets and bedspreads.
The service is excellent and very friendly.

The location is very good about a fifteen minute walk to the "quiet beach" and twenty minutes to the beach downtown. I prefer the 'quiet beach" which is not so quiet on the weekends.

There is a pool and a barbecue on the property, nice sitting areas outside.
The pool is not big but big enough for a short swim.

The restaurant next door is excellent with very good and friendly service.

The motel has many repeat guests and I can see why because I'll be back

I’ve travelled for many years, always preferring roadside privately owned motels. Blue Water Motel is the best in every way..... high end quality pool and patio furniture, propane fireplace in conversation pit with bbq and a wood fire pit for bonfires.
The mattresses were top quality
The owners/staff were friendly
Inside and out, this motel was Clean and Tidy.
Definitely recommend Blue Water

Family run business with friendly and courteous staff. Check in and check out were handled very efficiently and courteously. Our room was clean and adequately stocked with everything in working condition. It is somewhat dated and nothing fancy, but comfortable and quite adequate. There was plenty of room inside for the two of us and we often sat outside in front of the room or at the heated pool. There are several tables with benches around the pool, physically spaced. When the kids are in the pool, it is impossible to maintain physical distancing. We did not use the BBQ's which are available nor the playground area for the kids. Also, did not use firepit on this visit (have done so previously) and not sure if it was actually available because of the COVID protocols. We had a very pleasant two-day stay and will definitely return.

This motel is great. As it was difficult to leave Canada I decided to try this hotel in Grand Bend. The location is good about a 20 minute walk to the beach. A good restaurant next door and several others in the area. The room was small but fantastic, has microwave, small fridge, coffee maker flat screen TV comfortable bed. Also a heated outdoor pool. I would like to stay there again next summer.

We go back every year. Location is great - close to main drag at the Bend and all shopping. Rooms are clean, and the pool is great. Rooms have fridge, microwave, cofffee maker, blow dryer and TV/DVD.

My family was in town this past week for a funeral. Reservations had been made for 2 rooms the first night and 5-6 rooms the following night. While at the funeral home we called to advise the Motel that we were running late but would be there shortly. The response was unkind and outright rude. "Well I can't hold these rooms forever"!!

My family was planning a funeral and this tone and stress to hurry up was not needed!! You are in the hospitality industry, it is your job! One would think there were be some compassion and understanding.

Needless to say, we immediately called back and cancelled all the rooms.

The wonderful people at the motor inn next door were extremely helpful and accommodating and we enjoyed our stay there!

Ironically the "Vacancy" sign at the Blue Water Motel during our time in town is a good indication of how busy they really were.

Quiet, very clean, nice linens. An appropriate room. Great eating just steps away. The price was right. Wouldn't hesitate to stop in again. Hope they will have me.

I normally stay in chain hotels when I travel (which is quite extensive). As Grand Bend doesn't have any, I decided to try a stand alone. On this particular trip, I only stayed in non-chain places. This one was outstanding. My room was a little small, but since I was travelling by myself, that was no problem. The room was clean, nicely decorated. But the 2 most important features for me when I travel is room noise level and how comfortable is the bed. In both of these, the hotel was simply outstanding. Would definitely go back.
