There is a dining room for meals at the clubhouse. Clubhouse staff were excellent but the decor and food was only passable. They could and should do much more with this part of the resort. There are no alternative dining experiences within walking distance and so they have a captive audience. When I called to reserve a table I was told they were totally full so I just walked over and got a table in less than 15 minutes. I you book a king standard room you may wind up right by the elevator and on the ground floor next to the conference room so that when patrons leave the conference room to have a smoke on the lawn, they are essentially right outside your patio door. Some rooms have wonderful views but the ground level rooms may be looking out onto the pool area surrounded by a utilitarian chain link fence. Our room was quiet but if you have neighbours staying up, you may wind up staying up with them. Front desk staff was excellent at times and barely polite at others depending on who was there. We asked for bicycle storage and were told that there was a rack outside. For most cyclists, that is not a viable option. Grudgingly, we were given indoor space to store the bikes.…
Great place to stay, whether you just want to stay and enjoy the Resort or visit the Eastern side of PEI. Staff were great, rooms excellent, clean and spacious, and the facilities (especially for golfers) were excellent. We would definitely stay again
No need to be a golf player to enjoy this resort. You can swim in the inside/outside pools, take long walks along the river. Beautiful site. Don't forget to go try the Chowder and the fish and chips at the Wheelhouse in Georgetown.
The golf courses were in excellent condition, staff members were friendly and professionals. the only thing we didn't like is that they only clean the room on the 4th day of your stay so do not expect the room to be cleaned or the beds to be made if you're staying 3 days as we did.
I would not recommend staying here. Paid quite a lot for a junior suite which was outdated, old, and uncomfortable. Bed was uncomfortable. All 4 pillows where split in middle so no neck support. The couch, ow the couch. Both got back pains due to no cushioning left in cushions and why is the tv to the right on the wall when it would make much more sense to swap it with other desk so tv is right in front of you and not off to the side. Also, what’s with the space between desk and door to go outside? Hardly any space which you end up most of the time hitting the door with the desk.
We made the reservation knowing nothing about it but comfortable with the Rodd name. Very pleased with the first impression as we drove onto the property. Wish we had time to enjoy what appeared to be excellent golf courses. The scenery was excellent. This is a gem in the country
Great golf resort. We had 16 guys on a golf trip and never had to drive anywhere. There is only one restaurant on site and it gets busy so wasn’t always available… But food was good! Golf courses are very enjoyable to play.
Front desk changed reservation to another name making check in and out difficult. Staff at Club19 were great. There were no towels in the room on arrival. Crazy loud party next door made enjoyment difficult.
Rooms clean and comfy. Staff friendly. Lovey large bed; however, it seemed hard and a bit uncomfortable. Food at Club 19 excellent. What a shame for the staff there that there was a shortage of wait staff.
Golf at Dundarave and Brudenell are both great and beautiful. Resort rooms are functional but dated. Very scenic location on the river. Short drives to nearby towns for food options. Staff are friendly.
