I stayed in the Harbour Room and it was both elegant and convenient. The large room is decorated with beautiful antiques and a four poster bed, and yet the flat screen TV still managed to fit right in. Breakfast was delicious and we wish we'd be able to stay for dinner. I definitely hope to return on day.

Oh my gosh what a peaceful and relaxing night. We were in PEI for the day with my mother in law and after spending the day touring the painfully beautiful Charlottetown, we looked for a place to spend the night. Called the Historic Inn and they agreed to give us a couple of rooms. No one else was staying there...

We had the Captain's Room and it was lovely. There were nautical touches but you're not drowned in them. The bed was comfy as was the room temperature. The hosts are friendly and knowledgable. They are happy to take the time to spend time with you. There is no rush or hustle. The restaurant has well prepared food. It is...

Thank you so much for your review. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay, our staff, and the food that we serve. I would like to mention that the Inn is open right up until Christmas in case other travelers are reading this review. The restaurant has reduced hours but it is still open a few evenings a...

Located near the Easr Shore Drive on PEI, this was our favorite spot on the island during our two weeks there. The Inn was lovely, the rooms charming and the restaurant food delicious. We were only sorry we couldn't stay more than two nights.

This Inn is so historic that the floors list, but it has lots of personality -- just like the staff. Each room has a name and a distinctive personality. We stayed in the Rose and Sunflower rooms on the second floor. The free coffee/cocoa station was between us. The inhouse restaurant has home cooking. The fresh mussels were outstanding! Breakfast...

Beautiful historic Inn with 8 themed rooms. They have an extensive garden for their food prep. Very fresh ingredients for meals. Nice place. I wish I had the opportunity to stay there, but alas, we were with a tour. Next time, I will tour independently and stay at the Inn for a few nights. Seemed like stepping back in time.

Enjoyed a yummy late breakfast at this lovely Inn. We were there on a Sunday and had a great "down east breakfast" including beans and fishcakes. Actually, the fishcakes were not on the breakfast menu but the staff were very pleasant about adding them to our meal. Note: dining room closes from noon until 5 pm on Sunday.

You can certainly tell this inn was built in the mid 1800's with the crooked stairs and pitched ceilings in the rooms. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and promptly given all the necessary information required for our stay. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. Breakfast the next morning was in the restaurant that is part of the inn....

Sorry to hear that someone earlier had a not-so-good experience here. Ours was just the opposite. We were in a third floor room that was more than adequate. Very comfortable king bed and incredibly quiet - even with the window open and a nice breeze coming in. We are both short so the small areas of the ceiling that are...

On our fifth night of a two week Canadian Maritime B&B extravaganza, we selected to book two rooms at the Georgetown Historic Inn on Prince Edward Island. We chose this location due to its proximity to the Wood Island Ferry which would take us the next morning back to Nova Scotia. We called earlier in the morning to also make...

Based on your review the 17 hours you spent here was more than adequate. We are surprised that one check-in ahead of you would cause a 'pent up situation'. We hope that your wife and the other couple your were travelling with appreciated the complimentary breakfast I had ready for all of you before the restaurant opened. I will talk...
