Had a lovely time staying in the cottage. Carol-Ann is very hospitable and will go above and beyond for her guests. The cottage is a small, separate building just beside Carol-Ann's own house. It has a living/dining space, a bedroom, an outdoor kitchen and a bathroom. I would classify the cottage as up-scale "glamping" - the space is clean and...

Carol Ann was a very welcoming host. She kindly drove us to town for supplies and took us and our luggage to the bus stop when we checked out. We stayed in the ground floor of the yellow cottage and it was the perfect size, very clean and had the right equipment for us to do simple meals. The location...

Spent a week here at the end of February. As regards the inn itself there is nothing really to add to the excellent reviews, do remember it is a B&B and not a hotel. People rave about the breakfasts, they are more like brunches generally something cooked, then something sweet - fresh fruit or similar all served with the excellent...

I booked Jacoway Inn our last night in Dominica because it is near the airport. Unfortunately we were not able to explore more the Calibishie area before sunset because it took us a long time to get to the north part of the island from South/center due to blocked highways (mudslides & flooding main highways). We also had early morning...

Hi Tam, Thank you for the positive review. We have new curtains on order, should be installed soon. Sorry about no hot water as it is solar and it had been raining for 4 days! We cannot get hot water storage tanks here so I guess I will have to install a hot water heater. Hope this won't put the...

Our stay at Jacoway Inn was outstanding. We were welcomed in many ways, beautiful gardens to have our breakfast, comfortable bed, homemade breads, directions to beaches and restaurants and so much more. Our hostess Carol Ann has an amazing gift of hospitality and made us feel right at home. Since we are gardeners, we especially enjoyed the variety of palms,...

We stayed in the upstairs studio at Jacoway. It has a lovely balcony, high ceilings, sleeping for three (double bed and single bed), and a great shower (with hot water!). The kitchenette had a mini-fridge, sink, electric kettle, hotplate, and toaster oven and is equipped with basic kitchen supplies. The hostess was very welcoming. We used Jacoway as a base...

The cottage is small but cozy and has everything you'll need: a kitchen, hot shower, comfortable bed etc. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden with relaxing chairs and a rocking chair. It's a short walk to the (small) grocery and restaurants, but it's recommendable to rent a car (4WD) if you want to see more of Dominica. The host,...

We spent a full week in Calibishie, and Jacoway Inn is definitely a place to stay! It is not so expensive compared to everything else, and the host is really nice and available. We travelled there with our 10 mo baby, and while there was no baby bed in the room, we were able to work something out of a...

We enjoyed our stay in the second floor studio. Sitting in the comfy balcony chair overlooking banana trees and the sea is a treat. Breakfast should not be missed! If you'd like to stay on the beaten path and enjoy fresh country air, contact Carol Ann.

Even though we didn't stay at Jacoway Inn, I wanted to let everyone know that Carol Ann makes the most delicious baked goods. Even though we didn't stay at the inn we ordered lots of baked items from Carol Ann...... multigrain bread, chocolate chip cookies, chicken pot pie, chocolate cake and the best coconut cream pie. We visited the inn...
