We had the pleasure of staying in the Chalet for our recent honeymoon. I cannot say enough about this place! The kitchen and bathroom was well stocked with things i didn't even realize i was going to need. The beds were comfy. Everything was spotless and clean! We had stayed at the Gallery Inn in San Juan the night before...

I echo the two recent reviews. We stayed in the loft and were completely comfortable and satisfied! Don't worry about not having directions to the property provided on her website. Sue will meet you in town and escort you up the mountain. She is a wonderful host!

What a great time we had getting to know the rain forest at Sue's Place. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, lots of room with decks on two floors and a terrific, for real person in Sue to make sure everything worked for us. The first drive up the mountain isn't for the faint of heart, but after the first...

Not only was Sue friendly, accessible and accommodating, but the loft was a great place to stay. It was clean and organized, simple and met all the basic needs. Sitting in the hammock or chairs in the deck was wonderful. There's no AC but open windows and fans left us completely comfortable with the coqui frogs to sing us to...

I was in San Juan, PR for a conference recently and decided to add on a few days of vacation. I knew I'd want to get out of the city so I booked Sue's Place for three nights. It was exactly what I was looking for! Please read the other reviews and know that this is not the Ritz Carlton....

We were looking for a spot off the beaten path of busy Puerto Rico and we found a tropical paradise at Sue's Place. From the winding mountain road, we knew we were in for a real treat and very excited to see our final destination. Sue's Place is set amonght the most beautiful tropical gardens, she takes pride in her...

The time spent at Sue's Place was enjoyable for my husband and I as well as our graduating grandson. The accommodations is what you would expect in a rain forest...nestled in among the trees surrounded by tropical plants and beauty galore. The Quoqui frogs begin their songs in late afternoon and become increasingly loud as the sun sets. Come prepared...

Sue's Place is right outside of El Yunque national forest, but you wouldn't know it from looking around. You would swear you were in the thick of El Yunque. There are narrow, twisty, one-lane roads to reach her mountain home. Sue's advice on handling the roads? "Just roll the car windows down, turn on your lights, and blow the horn...

We learned of Sue's place from a good friend in Maryland where we live. All I can say is we had the most amazing vacation we have ever had together and Sue's place is an absolute gem. We could not get enough of the peace and tranquility of being a top a mountain in the rainforest. We are first-timers to...

My 9 year old daughter and I stayed in the loft for two nights. The place exceeded my expectations. It was great to meet Sue and hear her stories of raising a family in the area. The loft was comfortable and had everything we needed. The luxury here is Sue's gardens and the surrounding jungle. My daughter really loved hunting...
