We stayed for almost a week at the Chalet with our 5-year old son and friend. It was a great experience. If you are looking for a resort, this is not it. We enjoyed the porch, the views, being away from the hustle and bustle. We all reveled in the sounds of the coqui at night, and rooster during the...

We stayed at the loft for 2 days. We enjoyed the patio very much. It's like camping in the jungle with all the comfort. The loft was very cozy and comfortable. The view outside is magnificent. Sue was an excellent host and she helped us with places to see and recommended travel ideas. We would definitely go back the next...

Sue was a sweetheart. She is really friendly. We stayed in the loft and it needs a lot of work. Several things were broken and the place needed a good cleaning. The sound of the jungle is extremely loud, so sleeping for us was a problem. It has a lot of potential. It also has great access to the main...

I've never stayed at a place like this and couldn't be happier. My friends and I stayed here 8 years ago, and I couldn't remember the name until I stumbled on it today. Wow! Beautiful sunsets and surrounded by the rainforest. You really get to pretend you live in the rainforest of PR while you're here. The surf lessons were...

We had the pleasure of staying in the chalet for one night, and are so happy it worked out. Sue is a great host and this charming hideaway in the rainforest is stunning. We loved being tucked away in nature and falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest inhabitants. The only disappointing part of our stay is we couldn't...

We loved Sue's Place and settled into the relaxing hammock on the porch of the Chalet. The wild life of snails and Coqui Frogs were the background of a "chill" time for our family! We got to hike in the rain forest with directions from Sue which was most useful. The roads that we traveled were a challenge, but made...

Driving up the mountain to Sue`s place sets the tone for a fantastic stay in the rain forest! We stayed in the chalet in January. The house is beautiful inside and out. Sue will help you with whatever you want or need. The town and beach is a short fun drive down and up the mountain! We went to the kiosks for...

As the other reviewers said, Sue is so incredibly friendly and accommodating. My friend and I made a last-minute trip to Puerto Rico and decided to stay at the loft at Sue's place. She met us in town and led us up to the property. Even showed us to a store to get some supplies on the way up the...

We had a great stay at Sue's in the loft. There is a fridge, microwave, cooktop and coffee maker in the room so we had breakfast on the patio with views of the rain forest, mountains and ocean - so just amazing. No AC but we were quite comfortable with open windows and fans. The coquis are noisy at night...
