The advertising on the web makes this place sound fantastic but unfortunately, this is not the case. Upon entering the manor one notices how old and tired the décor is. The furnishings lack color, look very tired and perhaps dusty. The room we were given was rated STANDARD It was small just enough room to walk around the bed. The...

Stayed here for one night whilst attending a nearby wedding. The good - location is great, it's comparatively cheap, the bed was surprisingly comfortable, bathroom has been refurbished, there is free parking and staff are friendly. The bad - the rooms are very tired , far from clean (layers of accumulated dust and grime very visible) and need a good...

The hotel would be close to 100 years old building with updated facilities. The location is close to commuter train station and within walking distance of good restaurants. Parking on-site and wifi is free. It had the feeling of a comfortable B&B. We thought it was well run and cleaned. The continental breakfast, which was a very reasonably priced extra,...

The price and location were fantastic, but the furnishings and facilities were very 90's. We also asked if we had to book for breakfast the following morning, and were told just to show up and pay on the day. When we arrived we were told there were no available spots left (there were only a very small amount of tables...

Bit better than a back packers. Room was very dusty, mould on shower screen, broken floor tiles in bathroom which moved when standing on them. The freight train going through was nice as well as the domestic going on next door. Every review related to price but compare apples for apples first.

Got a last minute room. Excellent location and easy check in process. Has a nice faded charm about it. A bit of a mish mash of styles but I liked it's uniqueness. Excellent for the price. And the position is a winner! It's also very quiet considering it is on a busy road.

Loved Toorak Manor...fabulous location. Thought it may be a little noisy, because of location, but no trouble sleeping at all. Big room, comfortable bed , hot shower. Fabulous location. Friendly staff and value for money. Would certainly stay here again.
