We had a self contained camper and only stayed late afternoon through to very early morning. Place seemed okay, nothing flash but offered everything you usually need to camp comfortably. I'd stay again if we were passing by.

My wife and I stayed here with our two dogs. A welcoming and friendly host passes by during his rounds once or twice a day. Close enough to Hanmer that it is easy to visit, but far away enough so there is no hussle bussle etc. Great spots by the river for picnics, and walking the dogs.

We were in a self-contained camper van. So this place is nice because it's a very friendly place. The owner and his family took care of it themselves, with the help of good friends. One of them, Michael, chatted with us and his dog played with us happily. Otherwise, everything is rustic. But clean enough to work. The kitchen is... More

We just spent two nights at this cute little holiday park - only intended on staying one night but we just couldn't leave! Stayed in a quaint wee cottage cabin that was cosy and warm in the middle of winter with comfortable beds. Our cabin opened out onto a fantastic wee playground that our toddler couldn't get enough of. The... More

What a fantastic little camping ground. I took my son there for a weekend away, and chose this place because our little dog was welcome. And what a find! Only about five minutes drive out of Hanmer township, with a lovely rural outlook. We stayed in a cabin which was spotlessly clean, warm, and well equiped. The host was lovely,... More

A little gem among some of the bigger players. Skip the others and head here. Very welcoming hosts and facilities are terrific for the little you pay. Quaint cottages and flat, shady van sites. We really enjoyed our 1 night here.

A small but inviting holiday park. We hired a cottage for us and our son. The hosts were friendly and seemed to be always around if needed. The cottage was small, just the double bed and bunks, but the beds were very comfortable and warm, a great nights sleep. The park kitchen was very well appointed and clean, as was... More
