Sandy & Jack are great hosts. I really enjoyed my quiet stay and loved all the recommendations that Sandy recommended, from the restaurants to my visit to Hockley Valley and surrounding areas. I had a wonderful breakfeast before exploring :). Their home was spotless & the gardens were so beautiful! I would highly recommend their home for a really nice get away. Cheers, Ann C.
My husband and I spent two nights at this lovely bed & breakfast to attend a wedding. This was our first time in Mono and would go back just to spend more time with Sandy. She is a very interesting person and has spent many years in a traditional bed & breakfast business. After we arrived and were shown around we were given tea on the front veranda and later went for a hike at the back of the property. Sandy was a wonderful hostess who provided us with some delicious breakfasts, even accommodating my husband who is celiac. If you are planning on being in the Mono/Orangeville area book yourself a room at the Farmer's Way Bed & Breakfast. You will not be disappointed!
Our family of 6 - mom and dad and two adult couples stayed one night at this very unique B&B. It's an older farmhouse that is modernized but still retains the traditional farmhouse look inside and out. The downstairs common areas are spacious and comfortable with a large parlour and dining room but hostess Sandee makes you feel right at home so you can walk into the kitchen or peak into her studio without feeling you are intruding. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms with one ensuite and a shared bathroom for two. The beds are comfortable and with wide open windows (no ac) and the quiet of the country we all had a great sleep. Outside there is a pool (very clean!) with a large deck beside it facing across the wooded valley and grassy back lot. Even though neighbours are close by their structures are not visible nor do you hear anything. Sandee is very knowledgeable about the local area history, politics and attractions. She was kind enough to draw a very detailed map to find some attractions in the area. Our only regret wad that we only stayed the one night. …
