we stayed for a week at the tail end of the summer. The location is a bit off the beaten track, so a fair amount of 30 minute drives. But within 30 minutes there are a huge amount of things to do, and the quite (and the night skies) benefit. What really sold it to us though was the really...

We just spent a week here and had a great holiday. The cottage (Coally Law) was comfortable, clean and well equipped in a great location and very peaceful. We enjoyed the pool, sauna, tennis court and games room. We had many day trips out to Alnwick, Holy Island, Dunstanburgh, Farne Islands etc. all easily accessible. Highly recommend for a family...

This was a fabulous family holiday within a lovely area. The owners seem to have thought of everything with these very generous comfortable cottages. Kids loved the sports facilities and games barn. We explored the local are and beaches on bikes, walk round the lake and looking forward to returning. The whole ethos appeared to be to provide the perfect holiday...

We've holidayed in Northumberland before but this was our first time at Breamish Valley. We stayed at Miller's Hill, which is a larger cottage set away from the main site (which really suited us). We enjoyed fields of sheep, hares in the garden, and spectacular views of the bad weather coming across the hills! The cottage is really spacious but...

Some of the best self catering cottages we have stayed in. Everything you could possibly need - home from home. With access to gym, pool and games room to boot! Beautifully and tastefully decorated cottage. We will be back.

We took our three year old and we all loved it. A lake down the path, swimming pool where we swam on our own, gym if you wanted it, tennis court, play area and games room. All really peaceful and you hardly saw another another person. The property we had was amazing and luxury for a fabulous family break. Will...

This is a lovely place to stay. We were blessed with great weather and this added to the beauty of this place. The cottage we stayed in was well furnished and very comfortable indeed. There is plenty to see and do in this part of Northumberland and these cottages are perfect for doing this. There are plenty walks in the...

This was our 4th visit to Breamish Valley Cottages, and the first time we have stayed in Kilnfield cottage. The cottage was immaculate on arrival, with a nice welcome pack awaiting. There is a nice view from the rear patio door area and it is a very quiet location. You can do as much or as little as you want...

Just returned from a 3 night break with my husband for our 1st wedding anniversary and cannot recommend highly enough! As it was just the two of us we stayed in Castle Close and it was really spacious, beautifully decorated, private garden overlooking lake and field with horses....Just wonderful. The kitchen was a joy to cook in and there had...

We stayed in one of the new cottages, Comby Hills, for new year. We have visited Breamish before but not in the last 5 years. It was lovely to be back. These really are quality cottages with excellent facilities - a real home from home. We particularly liked the Xmas tree and decorations! The cottage enjoys plenty of space and...
