Friendly, helpfull staff. They informed us on what to do in area. breakfast lovely, rooms clean, nothing to complain about. Enjoyed our stay. Close to everything. Beds comfortable. I enjoyed the "old-time" feel, brought back fond memories of childhood days staying in hotels.

This hotel has not changed in 10 years. The rooms are from Victorian times, the food is sometimes worse than average, the decor leaves A LOT to be desired. I would not recommend this experience. Its a very old hotel with good staff but the owners desperately need to renovate ASAP.

We decided to break our trip back from Namaqualand with a night at this hotel. We only made a reservation the day before we checked in but the lady (Michelle) who assisted us to make a booking was extremely friendly and efficient. When we pulled into the parking area in front of the hotel I feared that we had made...

Although you are within walking distance of the Cape Gannet Island, (which is not really an island as you can walk to it), the hotel is situated behind factories so quite unpleasant. The staff were very friendly and the food was good. This hotel is basic so really only good for a brief stopover to visit the gannets and to...

A very tired part hotel part longer term rental establishment. I realize that it is a fishing town, but all the boats are towed past the hotel. So if you have a "sea facing" room you do not get a good nights rest. Also the parking at the rear of the hotel was guarded on our previous visit, but this...

Considering the price and breakfast included, this hotel is well worth it. Rooms are outdated but the friendly staff more than make up for this. Two restaurants on site and the beach a close stroll away.

Old hotel that still has a bit of quaintness about it. Good bar. Nice position. Average rooms. Friendly staff. You will wake up to the cry of seagulls. Restaurant open from 7pm and 7 am. As we were travelling by side car I would stay again.

This is about location. Local supermarket near by , hotel has a good bar and restaurant. The incredible Westkus Restaurant over the road. Very close to the sea but unfortunately no sea view from ground floor. This hotel isn't luxury but has all you need.

Not the luxury many want. We stayed for one night. The staff are very friendly. Choose a room on the back as the noise from the factory just in front of hotel may be disturbing to some. Go to one of the local restaurants in walking distance. While the dining room may look like you enter a time warp we...

This hotel is an old hotel but with refurbished rooms and good views of the harbour and the sea. Nice helpful staff and good food. Not expensive. The snoek pathe is very, very good. Cosy bar, pity about the smoking allowed.
