Coming from Zanzibar to Tanga to look for a decent hotel is not easy. This hotel is designed very badly with zigzag location of rooms, restaurant and dinning hall. The rooms were very small, and way over priced. The MAN at front desk was nice AND very business oriented with dealing making charming but for the most part the service...

We were very much welcome in this hotel. We come late, but good. The rooms were good, the Ac did work, the restaurant was nice (outside), the service was good, we were taken care of and the breakfast was ok. Interesting with the internal staircase going up and down. You have to take care of your head.

I stayed in this hotel for one month. My room was light and airy and very clean. The ac worked well. Occasional leaks were quickly cleaned up. I had a power strip so I could run both the tv and the refrig. at the same time. You must get a new password everyday, but the wi-fi was free and fast...

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years. I live in Tanzania, so go there for work. Although initially difficult to locate, the hotel is relatively well positioned in Tanga. It's a quirky kind of hotel, suggesting that there has not been very carefuly thinking when planning it. As others have pointed out, the rooms...

We stayed one night at this hotel, before deciding to move on. Staff gave us a friendly welcome and did their best to attend to our needs. The receptionist was well trained and skilled. Our room did not have a mosquito net, but the manager found one and had it in place within c couple of hours. We were initially...

We showed up without a booking, and were welcomed warmly. Our room was spacious and very clean, with working aircon. There was good hot water and both a sit down and squat toilet. Breakfast (included) was fine, and served in the tiny bland restaurant downstairs. There is free WiFi, but despite many attempts, help from the friendly staff (and 3...

This is an inexpensive but nice place to stay in Tanga. They have good food in their restaurant too, especially the breakfast. The water is hot, and the beds are comfortable. I have stayed here many, many times. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is secure parking, and security on the compound.
