The lodge has been imaginatively built on a rocky outcrop overlooking Lake Mburo national park. Reading the book about how it was created made us appreciate it even more! We were very impressed that it was totally solar powered, and by the rainwater collection system. We were in Kings room, which had a shower built around the natural rocks, which... More

Thank you for your review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciated Mihingo and the effort that we made to make it as environmentally friendly as possible. We are very sorry that our manager upset you when you entered the shop while she was not there. She feels awful that she made you feel uncomfortable, and was... More

I visited in Oct. 2012. Mihingo was one of the top two lodges I stayed at in Uganda. Its setting is beautiful, perched on a boulder-strewn hill overlooking Lake Mburo National Park, with a popular wildlife watering hole visible from the restaurant and swimming pool. My cabin, a few minutes' walk over the rock outcropping from the lodge, looked east... More

Sublime service, gourmet food, relaxing environment, to-die-for views, bush babies at night, wildlife right up to the rooms/tents; luxury tents with fantastic features such as showers with a view, even a leopard spotted from the balcony! Perfect place for a romantic break, or to... More

Beautiful big tents had the tent Kilspringer. Delicious food, spectacular pool and views. Cute bush babys visited. Stopped here 3 nights after 8 busy amazing days to relax before continuing on to Kenya. Small park, fun night safari, saw a few of the smaller night mammals. Highly recommend.

A very unique lodge. The attention to detail that has gone into the planning of this lodge is truly amazing. The food and service was excellent. Loved having coffee delivered in a basket to our hut each morning.

This Lodge is wonderful but make sure your knees are in good nick! You'll need to be able to climb up and down some quite steep steps. The location and decor are very Moroccans with some lovely art and artefacts.

We spend the last night of our safari in this Beautiful lodge located in lake Mburo, one of the smallest national park of Uganda. The location is absolutely perfect.
