We stay here at least a couple of times a year, a regular getaway from Bangkok. Yes, it may be a little more pricey than some other places on the island but we think it is well worth it. The superior rooms are spacious and have always been clean. We enjoy the breakfast and think the standard of food overall...

Getting off the speedboat we had to struggle with our cases over the beach until a local helped my Mam with hers. Check in was easy and we were shown to our room, which was a little bungalow over looking the sea. Rooms are a little dated but typical for a beach hotel in Thailand. Unfortunately I was bitten in...

After having very bad luck with our first hotel we chose to stay here as this hotel looked very nice and the price was even better for the value. Staff at reception more than helpful, friendly and kind! Rooms are bungalows varying from size but enough space to feel like home. Clean, free wifi, ac and flat tv - all...

We have been going to Samed Villa, three times a year for 10 years. So it feels like home. The staff are very friendly and the food, although the same most visits is well cooked and tasty. The rooms are good. This time we stayed in D5 and we would have liked to see a flyscreen on the main door,...

Been there many times over the years, with family and friends. Really nice place, a quiet oasis middle in the chaos Koh Samet can be at times. Well maintained, large common areas, excellent breakfast, good food. Samel Villa has been around for a while, that is a recommendation in itself. Higly recommended.

Although very idyllic, very basic. The main beach is lovely however there are no sunbeds to relax on. Not the resorts fault but the amount of mosquitos is horrendous! Flies around your food whilst your in the restaurant etc, I did expect more for the price we paid. The breakfast consisted of 2 eggs, 2 hotdogs sausages and salad, then...

Dear Adele B, From what you have reviewed, we believe you have mistaken us for Samed ‘Ville’ Resort (very similar name) which is located on Ao Wai Beach, further south of the island. We are located on Ao Phai beach. Here at Samed Villa we provide sunbeds for our customers free of charge. We also have the breakfast buffet with...

I visited with 4 friends over 2 days. Samet Villas is a pleasant solid place to stay. Some improvements are possible and I was initially unsure if a review should be between "average" and "very good". Overall I think "very good" is the correct decision. Firstly the positives. The Resort is very pleasantly located just yards from the beach. The...

Came there on Friday afternoon and left on Sunday. I just hope for the sake of others that they put me in this dirty old room because I was travelling alone. The resort has 2-3 buildings and some bungalows and I am only commenting on the building/room I was in. Maybe the others are very nice, I don't know. It's...

Rooms are clean, with TV, conditioning, minibar etc. Breakfasts are included and they are great. You can choose European and Oriental dishes. You can find soup, salad, fruit, coffee - everything you want. There are free chaise-longues for the guests of the hotel. Stuff is very nice. In the evening they replace chaise-longues with tables and you can have your...
