I stayed for 3 nights in Samed Villa towards the end of October 2014. The location is great - right at the far end of one of east coast Samet's best beaches, Ao Phai. This means you're in close enough to the "action" that you can easily take a stroll down the beach for dinner, drinks and fire shows in...

We've been to this resort twice now and will definitely go again. The accommodation is very good for the price (however we have only been in low season). Well built, air conditioned solid bungalows with easy access to the beach. Our favourite beach, Pudsa, is just a short walk south, round the picturesque headland and there is a lovely area...

without intending to sound smug, I do usually stay in 5 star beach resorts. I think Samed Villas has changed my mind. We were recommended it by friends who live in Bangkok and my friend and I booked a 2 bedroomed beach villa. Absolutely cannot believe the standard of the villa for the price we paid. Lovely furnishings, very spacious,...

The Resort had the potential to be good and did some things well. Unfortunately we had too many issues that just made the stay not so enjoyable, especially with 4 young kids. On the positive side, the breakfast was great - best I have experienced in Thailand. It is nice and green and we actually had some pretty awesome thunderstorms...

Dear Arusha from Tanzania Thank you very much for being our guest, also we appreciate your feedback. Concerning the rainy season it is possible during this period of time to have jelly fish around Koh Samet island and many beaches in Thailand. Unfortunately, we are a 3 stars hotel that does not have the capacity and space for swimming pool....

We stayed in Superior family sea view bungalow room which overlook the sea. 2 bedrooms with attached bathroom each. Room is very basic but are fine as we are all days outside the room enjoying the beach, sea and sun. The beach and sea outside the resort might not be the cleanest but still bearable. you can easily walk down...

We stayed in a family room with a double and 2 single beds. Room basic but fine. Rooms stayed nice and cool. Lots of ants even by beds but maids came and sprayed as soon as we told them about the problem. Bathroom a little dated, stained seats and sewerage probs, but again not too bad. Breakfast and coffee a...

We have stayed here a number of times, but not within the past two years. We were not disappointed in our choice to return. The breakfast and dinner remain a highlight as do the bungalow rooms which are great. You do not need a seaview room here to appreciate the sea and the tranquility. This may be slightly higher priced...

Good value and great view, if you can get the sea front villas. Reception is so far back and not co-ordinated with the rest of the world. No phones in the room to be in contact with reception. There is a lot of disturbance from local sales people who camps out in front of your room. Your arrival is with...

As the title says, this is a beautiful property with an excellent restaurant, with small but adequate rooms. But the highlight of the resort is the staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. It was a shame that the spa wasnt working when we went in June, but the ladies on the beach (doing their own thing) were fairly adequate. theyshould do something...
