This was our third ski trip to Bad Hofgastein and our second stay at Klammer's Kaernten. This time, we invited both sets of parents to come along. A great idea since the hotel is perfectly suited for the older audience and also for families. It was an overall great experience. Major advantages: very quiet hotel, super-comfortable, clean rooms (most with...

Stayed here for three nights for a brief skiing trip. The hotel is family run and they make a real effort to make the guests feel welcome. The food is traditional Austrian fare, all perfectly edible. The cake buffet, served at about 3 p.m. for those tired skiiers was an absolute highlight - worth staying again just for that. The...

Klammers is a perfect place for ski vacation. Flexible with servations. Klammers is surrounded with beautiful great ski amade ski area. Klammers personnel is friendly, and the cook in the kitchen knows what he is doing. Can recommend this for a couple of days or for an enti week.

Spent three nights here on a short skiing break. This a friendly, welcoming place to stay and is on the right side of town for the walk to the funicular ( important if you are wearing skiboots). Our rooms were large and spotlessly clean with amazingly comfortable beds. The decor is a mix between traditional Austrian and modern. There is a large locked...

I stayed at Klammers Karnten in December 2007 for Christmas and I had such a wonderful time. First impressions weren't great - its a bit modern and a little worn in places. But the spa is to die for, the food is great (and very Austrian) and the service is genuinely helpful, with a great family atmosphere. During our stay...
