Our family had the privilege of living in Europe (Switzerland) for 2 years with our work. We have been back in the US for one year, so yes, my review is overdue but I feel so strongly about how well we were treated at Der Adler I am compelled to write a review. (Full Disclosure- this is my first review...

Just got back from a long weekend at this family-run hotel. It's quite traditional in style and modest in size but that meant that you got to meet all the staff and many of the residents too in just a few short days. Even though we were the only English guests and our German was very limited, all the staff...

This family managed hotel has impeccable standards of cleanliness and an outstanding team of courteous, friendly and accommodating staff. The owners, Herr & Frau Egger, are friendly and keen to make your holiday a happy one. The hotel has a delightful dining room, and the full board catering is more than ample. Our bedroom, type Hubertas B, on the second...

As always, the experience was nothing short of excellent in every way.The Eggar family are delightful as are all the staff & we will be visiting again without doubt. If you want to watch the races without staying in the mayhem of Kitzbuhel there...

We stayed for a couple of weeks with 2 kids (9 & 13 yo) in December-January 2015. The main advantage was that the hotel agreed to accept us right after X-mas, which is not such a usual practice. Overall: Despite below complaints we spent decent time in Adler. If you are not too picky about quality, attention, and service you...

This was our second stay in this hotel. Last time 4 great days, now 7 days, so so. We chose this one again for the cosiness and the non-ski-slope food. Both were a little disappointing. Staff was non attentive, not interested or I even felt sorry for asking anything. The food existed of strange combinations of ingredients. Not ok. Kids...
