This was my third lovely visit, and I decided to stay for a month. Rose's welcome is always warm and inviting, and though it is a relaxed place, her standards are very high in creating comfort and elegance in each room or apartment. The linens are high end, the kitchens stocked with excellent cookware, table cloths and basics, and the...

We really enjoyed our stay at the small and unique private place. It is perfectly located in the center of the village, directly opposite to the "Chateau". Our room was equipped very tastefully with antique furniture and a newly renovated bathroom. Rose, the owner of this house, is british (that facilitates the communication) and she is a very care- and...

This was our second time staying at Ancienne Maison des Garde in the beautiful Lourmarin. Once again - we had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Music Salon below the apartment where stayed last time. The music salon is perfect for 2 people. It is well appointed with a very comfortable bed, high quality linen, good shower and a...

We stayed for 4 nights in the Salle de Musique, a spacious studio with kitchen, eating/lounge area, and king bedroom. The room included A/C, wifi, satellite TV, a modern bathroom, and outdoor patio. Lourmarin is a great base for travel to the Luberon hilltowns, to Aix, or to Cassis/Marseille. Rose was ill, so Robin took care of us and made...

The 'studio' at this chambres d'hôte looked fantastic when we booked it and we paid the extra 20 euros or so for a one-night stay. If you are travelling by car ask for the best way to get there as the GPS did not recognise the street and, in any case, there is apparently no vehicle access even though the...

Lourmarin is a wonderful village and the Ancienne Maison des Gardes has the perfect location for easy access to restaurants, markets, and all this village has to offer. We stayed in the courtyard apartment which was well equipped, spotlessly clean, and perfect for our 1 week stay. Rose gave us some great tips on nearby places to visit, wonderful restaurants...

It is so nice to be back with Rose and Robin in Lourmarin. They have all the important things right...very pleasant rooms, comfortable beds with good linen, tons of local knowledge about food and the area, such a lovely restful place to be.

We spent 3 nights at La Maison Rose, during our honeymoon in Southern France. Rose was a wonderful host, preparing superb breakfast and giving us local guidance to sights and villages nearby. Our room was the balcony room facing south with vintage furnishing, a cosy balcony (venue of your breakfast each morning!) and nice decoration. Lourmarin might be the cutest...

This was our return visit with Rose in Lourmarin after a wonderful week the previous year. Again we were extremely happy with our stay in the Salon Musique after an equally happy stay in the Petite Maison the year before. The apartments are extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. As the weather was incredibly hot, the air conditioning was a...

Staying at this unique & historic village in a well equipped B&B with friendly & helpful hosts was a memorable part of our driving holiday through this part of France. The standard of the accomodation & hospitality shown by Rose & her husband would be hard to beat. Louramine is a great base to explore the Luburon.
