The hotel is situated in a beautiful village with an old chateau and vineyards within a 10 minute walk. Upon easily parking on the roadside for free, we were greeted with a complementary glass of wine which was very welcome. Our cases were taken out our car and put in our room which was in a small annexe which was very quiet. The room itself was clean and fairly spacious with minibar, safe ample wardrobe space and speaker and an iPad for you to explore the hotel amenities and village sites. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Bathroom clean, shower powerful and nice soaps and shampoos. The breakfast was excellent; mostly table service after us being given various options but some pastries and bread were self service. The only negative about the hotel experience was the ALMOST perfect pool area. It only needed a member of staff to fish out the leaves and debris now and again to make the water clear. Otherwise the pool was excellent. Staff are friendly and courteous.

What a wonderful refurbishment for this extremely charming hotel located in one of the most stunning villages of Provence. This is where the acclaimed Chef Edouard Louvet has started before moving to Bonnieux at Capelongue and the hotel was a little dated before the recent reopening this year. All spaces and rooms have been drastically redesigned to offer to the guests a wonderful place keeping the Provence style on a trendier version. It’s truly beautiful and ultra comfortable and we immediately feel like at home in the cozy rooms. We booked two rooms and even the entry category is already very good. The deluxe room offers extra space with a lounging area. The one we got has got an alcove giving a strong romantic character. We just enjoyed laying down in the rooms sharing a nice bottle of wine we bought in the fantastic Luberon. Bathrooms are well done using typical materials from the region and great touches like Dyptique amenities were highly appreciated. I can easily say that we fall in love for the Moulin and it was even hard to move out even if it would be a big mistake not to explore the village, one of the most stunning we saw in Provence and the whole area which is full of treasures. Rooms are well equipped with perfect mattresses for dreamy nights, smart TVs, super well stocked minibars with delightful products and drinks reasonably charged. So, potentially Le Moulin managed by the prestigious Beaumier group has the strong potential to become one of the loveliest hotels in France but there is still a little room for improvement. For example when we arrived, many other guests arrived at the same time and even if staff was kind and dynamic, it was a bit messy and since there is no enough staff to my point of view, it feels like an overflowing welcome. We had the same impression at breakfast which is slightly unfortunate because again, products offered are yummy, but staff was a little overwhelmed and consequently there were a few mistakes like serving coffee far before bakery basket… also, a little more generosity would be appreciated. But all these little details are totally understandable considering the property just opened before summer and it takes at least 6 months for a property to be matured enough. With the kindness of the whole team always smiling, the beautifully designed public areas (the entrance bar and the super cute adjoining lounge are so exquisite…), the great rooms so romantic and comfy, the Provence new age DNA and the impeccable location, no doubt that this little hotel will become one of the most unique hotels possible and we will surely return as often as possible.

We had a good family stay in this very pleasant hotel located in the heart of Lourmarin. The rooms are well soundproofed which means you won't be disturbed or disturb others when you have a young child. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. We were particularly able to appreciate the kindness and benevolence of Hugo, always ready to be of service. The cuisine is very good there.

Le Moulin is a beautiful boutique hotel that has all the charm of the surrounding city of Lourmarin but with all the modern touches where you need them. Everything in the hotel; from books to knickknacks to artwork and artisan pieces feels curated, as if you’re getting the best and most beautiful from Provence. I stayed for 2 nights in a superior room. It was spacious with all the amenities you could need, including very fast wifi, a tv (who has the time), and diptyque bath products (big deal for me). My room had a small sitting area and desk nook that was perfect for my early morning musings. The mini bar was filled with cute snacks, wine, and aperitifs from Lourmarin. And whatever wasn’t readily available in my room (an iron) was delivered to my room in less than five minutes once i called the front desk. I can’t say enough good things about how hospitable the staff was. Every staff member I encountered was good humored and polite; even helping me with my terrible French pronunciation and making car reservations for the next leg of my travels. As a young woman traveling alone in a foreign country these kindnesses make a huge difference. On my first night I opted to go to the hotel restaurant. The food and wine recommendations were perfect, and the servers were friendly, knowledgeable, and quite funny. I say funny as a warning to all my fellow Americans going to dinner in Provence. In places like Paris or Lyon you can get away with eating on the earlier side, but if you go to dinner at 7 in the smaller villages you must know that you will be eating in an empty restaurant for at least 45 minutes maybe even an hour. Which, frankly I had no problem with because the setting was idyllic, the wine was cold, and the food was delicious. I also enjoyed breakfast twice and their outdoor cafe area is great for people (and cat) watching. And, of course, the pool. It was gorgeous. Private. Serene. I wish I was there right now. The hotel has plenty of events, class options, and tours they’re willing to help set up, but I opted to spend my only full day in Lourmarin shopping and laying by the pool. It was perfect. I can’t wait to stay again soon. Thank you everyone at Le Moulin for providing such an amazing stay!

On our way to Cannes we needed somewhere to stop and stay for a night, however, we looked for something unique. And the hotel Le Moulin was exactly that. Located in a small French town it only added to the hotels character. The service extremely great, allowing for a personally catered experience. The rooms of the hotel display amazing character, creating a unique experience. The rooms are comfortable, not too spacious but they offer the perfect amount of space to sleep in the very comfortable beds. There was minimal noise at night allowing for a peaceful and restful sleep. We only stayed a night but we dined and had breakfast at the hotels restaurant. The design was incredible, with large ceilings and windows, however what was most exciting was the food. The menu was small, but offered unique choices, due to the size of the menu it was ensured that each dish was made with care and extreme detail, making everything delicious. This was the same case at breakfast, where there was no buffet but rather an Ă la carte French breakfast, it was truly wonderful.
I would recommend the hotel for anyone looking for a weekend escape in a zen location in a quaint and welcoming town.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this beautiful boutique property in a picturesque village in the Luberon. The quiet village is idyllic and the generous sized and newly refurbished rooms are fabulous. The quality bedlinen and Diptique toiletries were much appreciated.

Good quality kitchen and very nice setting, both in the pretty courtyard and in the dining room, cool in summer. But strange presentation of the menu: no more "starters" and "dishes". Everything is called "dishes" and brought at the same time. In tiny plates of irregular shapes. To make "trendy" perhaps? Not practical at all.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Lourmarin, very comfortable room, simple and refined decor at the same time, well suited to the village that Albert Camus loved so much. Window with view of the castle Very good sound insulation, ideal for rest, very comfortable bedding. What we particularly appreciated: the kindness of the attentive staff who were very responsive to any request. Finally a high-end hotel where our four-legged friends are treated with all the consideration they deserve, we appreciated the pretty terracotta bowls and the small wool blanket. Semi-gourmet cuisine without fuss prepared without a doubt using very good products. A very small downside on the breakfast with pastries of ordinary quality, what a shame the honey and jam were so good! We will come back for sure!

On 5 June 2022 my wife and I were at the hotel trying to book for accommodation for the night but it was fully booked and other hotels had no availability due to the busy Yeah music festival weekend in Lourmarin. We met Hanis a staff member on duty at reservation who reached out to help us out. He was courteous, knowledgable and informative and recommended us other Beaumier hotels nearby Le Galinier Laurmarin and Capalongue Bonnieux. He managed to show us around Le Moulin and a couple of beautiful rooms. We ended up staying in Capalongue which was excellent giving us fond memory of beautiful Provencal village experience.
Thank you Hanis. Hope we meet again someday somewhere.
Wishing you a successful fulfilling hospitality career.
Tom & Katarina
