We stayed a night and got a very spacious room on the top floor. Beds are very comfortable and the breakfast next morning very good as well. Nice selection on offer. Ideal place to start bike trips. We will certainly return. Staff also friendly and helpful

We´ve been to this place a couple of times and absolutely love it. The family appartment is really big and very comfortable. Unfortunately it´s so new, that there are still no shutters outside to darken the main master bedroom, so in summer you´re nights may be short (sunrise!). They plan to soon remedy this and for the standard rooms and the suites in the main building, this is not a problem anyhow. So no reason to take away a star. If you book early, you can bring a dog - in this case yiou have to stay in their guesthouse across the street, which is just as fine.
The breakfast they serve is absolutely the best in the neighborhod. Very Frankonian and just as good and fresh as the meals they serve in their restaurant. Try the Frankonian Bratwurst - but beware - it can be addicitive!

We stayed in this lovely inn for 2 nights in April. The owner could not have been more helpful and interested in making our stay perfect. By the time we left, we felt he was our friend. We had an excellent lunch in the restaurant and treats from the attached butcher shop run by the owner. We found the rooms to be comfortable and extremely clean. We had not one complaint during our stay. If in the area again, we will stay here rather than a bigger place.

After making a reservation on the phone, I was promised to receive a written confirmation. Hours later with no confirmation, I wrote them on the only email address available on their website. By morning I still had no reply and then decided to call.
The reception promptly told me that their is no booking under my name and I shouldnt have written to them at that email address and hung up the phone. I've never had such unprofessional service from any hotel. How dissappointing.

very basic hotel, I didn't like the very dirty carpet in my room, the old furnitures and the very bad wifi connection. The restaurant is NOT open at the moment and that's a pity. But the staff is extremely kind and polite. You can improve a lot, Nice breakfast buffet.

I chose this hotel since Nurnberg hotels were too expensive at the time of my visit. very well worth the easy drive (25 minutes) to Nurnburg. Very helpful staff indeed, rooms fine - all that we needed for our business trip. When we went to the wrong address, they came and found us and took us to the hotel. A shame no restaurant in the hotel, but good advice as to where else to eat in the town, all within 5 minutes walk. Excellent breakfast to start the day. Quiet enough for work and resting - not a busy road. Good parking. I suspect a family run hotel and I'd stay there again with pleasure.

We stayed at the Posthotel again this year for six days. What was good: Our rooms with a terrace in the building next door, if you don't mind the smell/odor from the butcher's shop in the morning (it didn't bother us). The breakfast is very good with a large selection and of high quality. When the hotel is full, however, the breakfast room can get a bit cramped, especially if the weather means you can't use the lovely outdoor area. There are enough parking spaces for cars and bicycles. In the afternoon, there is coffee, tea and a small selection of self-service pastries. There are refrigerators in the hallways with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks that you can help yourself to (self-order). The restaurant's rooms can also be used if the restaurant is not open in the evening, which is only the case once a week. The drinks can then be taken from the refrigerators in the bar room for self-order.

What was not good: Some of the drinks (beer) were already significantly older than their best-before date. We had already complained about this the previous year. Here we were told that of course this should not happen, but that old stocks from the Corona period were mistakenly included. When this happened to us again this year, we wrote an email to reception (among others) and pointed out this fact. The beer was still in the fridge over the next few days and this time we received no reply to our email. The rooms were only cleaned superficially and not at all on the day before last, which was very annoying because we had put our towels on the floor to change in the morning. The coffee capsules for the coffee machine were also refilled rather sporadically, so that on two days we could not drink coffee on the terrace in the morning - before breakfast. In addition, we found untidy corners in many places in the hotel or lamps without lampshades on the staircase, which felt like the same thing last year.

Conclusion: Actually a good hotel with a good breakfast. In our opinion, however, there is a lack of a "caretaker" who also takes care of the little things and can remedy this. The thing with the expired beer is of course completely unacceptable, regardless of the fact that the drinks weren't exactly cheap.
