The hotel is quite cheap considering German prices, but is below the average. The room is quite big, but the bathroom is very very small. Breakfast is absolutely bad: few choice of good and low qualità beverages.

Cold, dirty, boring, expensive, primitive, untidy, strange location, uninterested personel. All in all not an experience that I can recommend for anybody, not even mother inlaw. There are cheaper and better hotels nearby.

So we arrived here after a 2hour flight + 6 hour drive - one could imagine how badly we needed a shower. So I hopped down to ask for the parking space we had been promised (and told that there's no need to book) only to be told, "Sorry we're full, you can't park there" and thus we had to...

The worst experience ever. I just write the worst 2 thing of this awful place: 1. I get in my room and the toilet was still dirty from the last guest (pee on the floor).. In a bathroom that was max 1x2 mtr. 2. Parking place just from 9pm to 7am. It was kind of illegal to let the car...

Why do I always fall into the trap of assuming that the cheaper provincial hotels will offer a better deal than the budget big-city hotels? They rarely do. Hotel Hammerwirt is a case in point. The hotel itself is in a great central location, close to all sights, and it has the added bonus of having a quite charming restaurant...

What can I say? First of all, this hotel is well located with a short walk to anywhere in town. It looks excellent from outside and in as well, with a very traditional way on furbishing. Reception area is very modest. People working there were friendly and helpful, although kind of amateurish : ). Rooms are plain but everything works...

The hotel is located within minutes (walking) of the town center & train station. Parking is a bit of a challenge but nearby parking lots offer overnight parking (1900-0700) for only 1.50eur. The rooms are clean and well kept and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is typical Europe with cold cuts, cheese, ceral, brochen, juice and coffee....
