What a deception! I honestly am at a loss where to begin. Bad points: - no room service - no restaurant in the evening - no laundry service - no WiFi in rooms and extremely slow WiFi in common areas - somewhat clean rooms: dirt was rather pushed along the wall rather than removed, sheet in the bed were changed... We had a short but extraordinary stay here. The luxuries and comforts of this hotel were a lovely respite after the hydrofoil rides and a long day hiking up volcanos. The staff were kind, friendly, professional, and helpful. They also welcomed us with a bottle of champagne and a sweet note wishing us well on our marriage because my sister... More

I booked the room through internet, and although the room given had a small bed, the hotel is in a fascinating position. You can drink the aperitive looking the sunshine in a beautiful terrace. Few things to become a top hotel. Breakfast need more things expecially fresh fruits such as melon, pineapple etc......

We were lucky to get one of the sea view rooms. The hotel's style is outdated (probably hip in the 70s) but is still beautiful with great views of Vulcano island. Staff was friendly, especially Toti. The aperitivo on the terrace is fantastic! Great views of the sunset and Vulcano, and a good buffet of local food including swordfish -... More

Good hotel though some small things prevent it to be a top hotel. Very good breakfast, nice facility and a pool with view on the crater of vulcano. For a four star hotel some small things were not perfect. The window in our bathroom was so old, that it was not possible to fully close or open it. It was... More

Location is impressive as it is right in the middle of the two main beaches of Vulcano city. In fact, the hotel has private part in one of them. The installations are in good condition and the swimming pool is nice. At the beginning, I felt a little bit like in Disney because of the decoration, but after some hours... More

Very beautiful hotel, located close to the mud-wash beach and very close to two lovely beaches (one at each side of the Island!). Large rooms, comfortable, clean, nice common areas (garden, private beach, pool...). Good breakfast if you like sweets / cakes. All in all, an excellent place for a romantic getaway! However, beware of mosquitoes - they are everywhere... More

The hotel is a 5 min walk from the port and it has a privileged access to both main beaches (I recommend the one on the west, especially for sunsets). Ver comfortable rooms with private terraces, a nice pool. Breakfast could be more versatile. All in all, a good choice for your stay on Vulcano.

Nice place for a relaxing get-away. Located between two beaches (no private beach at the hotel though, but just next to a nice sand beach), maybe 15-20 minutes walk from the harbour. Use their free shuttle service - much better than dragging your luggage all the way from the harbour. My "location" rating reflects the vincinity to beaches - if... More
