We got married and had our wedding at Masseria Montalbano on 6th July this year. I could not recommend it more highly. The food is some of the best you will taste in Italy and it will undoubtedly be the best wedding food you will ever eat! From the buffet to the dessert wine - fantastic is the only word.... More

I was here recently as part of a wedding celebration. The location is wonderful and the service was very good. Quite formal in fact, The food was of a very high quality with a good variety. We were able to use both inside and outside locations for various stages of the evening and everyone greatly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended.

We were guests at the wedding of some Italian friends, part of a group of 300. The event was fabulous, the dining was in a massive courtyard under the stars. We were expecting the usual large event catering of overlooked, warm, boring fare, but the Montelbano excelled. Starters were varied from raw and cooked seafood, to sushi, to salumi, to mozzarella... I had my wedding reception here in August. The location is out of this world, breathtakingly beautiful and unique. Many guests said they felt like they were in a movie while they were eating. Our guests came from all regions of italy, the U.S., Switzerland, Holland, the UK, France and so on. The service was hands down the best service... More

This place was wonderful for a wedding and the room we stayed in was very nice. There are several different areas to hold a function in- the beautiful central courtyard, poolside and a very green garden area surrounded by olive trees. Really really lovely.

Messeria Montalbano is a typical country estate converted into a luxury resort. Modern and elegant, but maintains its authentic feel. We stayed in a deluxe room - in traditional style, very nice with attention to detail; would definetely recommend deluxe/superior even if more expensive as they are worth the stay. The few negatives are service not always up to the... More

Stayed here for a wedding. Staff were really friendly, excellent service, lovely receptions rooms, but the hotel is probably geared more towards wedding receptions than as a hotel in its own right (limited food available lunchtime and none in the evenings when there is a wedding reception taking place). Rooms very nice and cool - spacious, good bathrooms. Lovely pool.... More

We stayed here for a week in mid October. What an amazing place! Beautifully restored retaining much of the character but with more than a bit of luxury. The pool was finished when we were there. Although very large and very pretty, it was freezing. Maybe some solar heating would be a good idea! The hotel was quiet when we... More

Stayed here for two nights. It is a converted 16th C village complete with small church. The rooms are beautiful with lovely furniture and modern touches like flat screen TVs. The deluxe rooms have a small terrace with the sun most of the day. There is a very stylish bar and a restaurant serving delicious local food. The breakfast was... More
