Great location in small town, high up on hill with fantastic views. Room was nice, comfortable and plenty of room with lots of character. Evening meals were good quality and very nicely cooked by the owner, Maria who did a fantastic job cooking and serving, etc.

We rocked up to the village hoping to find a restaurant of a different type, havibg eaten in the village a previous night..... We hovered outside a beautiful building where a few couples were enjoying dinner. It turned out that these meals were exclusively for B&B guests as the restaurant is ooen at weekends only. BUT the lady was so...

Wonderful little B&B. The rooms are nice and the views are just out of this world! The rooms have a nice antique look and feel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast can be skipped as it was unremarkable but when you go out of the hotel turn two quick lefts and head down the stairs you end up at a...

Very nice stay in a charming old building. The staff is really nice, the rooms were very clean, the standards were good (all was new, fridge, bathroom, etc.). Excellent location, in the centre of the amazing Borgo.

Beautiful rooms with an incredible view on the valley. Very good internet connexion. Breakfast would gain to have fresh bread and not only cakes and pastries. Think about diabetic people. No cappucino but coffee in thermos brought directly from the house of the owner who do not live in the building. Quite scary for women travelling on their own. No...

Dear Lady, you congratulated me on the breakfast: "The best one since you arrived in Italy..." If there was not enough bread, you could ask me and I would have brought it again, as well as cappuccino or espresso. As I have already told you, I sleep in the next house when there are many guests; I don't think that...

Civitella in val di Chiana is really a place where normal life wins over tourism. There's only two places to sleep, 2 restaurants and one village shop to buy the most crucial things. Antico Borgo is really a jewel with a very original atmosphere. We booked the suite with the 360° view over two valleys which was i n c...
