A light Italian pasta lunch was delicious and a good selection. The restaurant was busy with a function so we were seated in a quite spot that was perfect after driving for several hours. The staff friendly and helpful and offered suggestions of things to do in the area.

We are traveling with student and adults. EF an educational tour group makes our hotel accommodations. This place is beautiful and really defines Tuscany. When we arrived each group had to walk to their villa. It was kind of hard rolling our suitcases up the rocky path and up the

Let me preface this by saying I'm an American traveling to Europe for the first time. To being with, the staff of Villa Saulina have been nothing but kind and helpful. I'm traveling with a tour group, so I would imagine it's not easy trying to set up for 40 people. The rooms are

Good day, I am delighted to be staying with you in May for a week. We would like to book a day trip to Cinque Terre and a day trip to Pisa. Perhaps we would even want to taking a food tour. My question is are there any tours that leave from the Villa Saulina, or Lastra a Signa? Or will I need to book the tours out of Florence? Additionally is Uber used in the area?Thank you kindly, Beth
Hi, We will be staying at Villa Saulina next december, arriving in Firenze by train from Venezia. We would like to rent a car for the week. Where is the closest place to do so? Also, is there any activity planned for Christmas? Thank you very much
Hello, We flew into Florence and there were regular bus shuttles to the car rental complex outside the airport. Although we were at the Florence train station we didn't notice any car rental kiosks. I would venture to say that they are there, however I would go online to check or talk to a travel agent. Go online to contact the Villa Saulina to see if they have anything planned for the holidays. They will gladly answer. Hope this helps.

Hi, We're vacationing in Italy in October & will be renting a car - would love to be able to stay here! Just wondering how easy it is to drive into Florence & find a place to park for the day - plan to walk or use public transport when we get there.
Dear, Thank you for contact us and to choose Villa Saulina. Our Resort, is located in the Florentine Chianti area, up on a sunny Tuscan hill, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards; is only 15 minutes far from historical city center of Florence, easily reached either by car or by train: the nearest railway station is only 3 km from the Hotel and has free parking available. Shuttle service is available upon request. The shuttle service is available only from from the train station of Lastra Signa to Villa Saulina or, in alternative, until Florence city. When you arrive to the trainstation of florence, you simply need to take another train to arrive at Lastra Signa and from there we could pick you up. Even if the Hotel is in a strategic position we always suggest to rent a car to discover Tuscany cause you will be much more flexibel. The Hotel is in a strategic position to visit the majors Tuscan attractions, like Pisa (only 40 minutes by drive or by train), Siena (1 hour drive or train), Certaldo and Chianti. Usually, we search to tell at our guest that is better to leave their car at the Lastra a Signa station, that is for free, because in the city of Florence is very busy to drive and have a place car. Regards Saulina Staff
