Stayed here for 2 nights in May 2016, a wonderful and relaxing experience. As soon as you enter through the gates it is immediately impressive. Great views of the Tuscan countryside. There are lots of heated thermal pools where we spent most of each day, make sure you explore the whole resort! The rooms were nothing special but we were... More

Fonteverde is situated in a nice and quiet place, named San Cashiano dei Bagni. It is 20 minutes drive from Chiusi-Chianciano terme station + 1,45 by train from Rome. It was very cool to swim in open terma watching landscapes of Tuscany. The hotel itself is very beautiful. We were greeted by friendly staff and got positive emotions from our... More

The grandest spa you could imagine set in the beautiful green hills of Tuscany. I can't keep track of all the various types of pools in the spa. Natural springs, springs with six different types of jets, a hot tub, a pool for the hotel guests, a pool for the day trippers, an infinity pool, the cold pool for the... More

It is a really lovely and charming place. 5 stars well deserved for the furniture, the service, the food and the context. The spa is nice and the termal swimming pools are comfortable, warm and with a fantastic sightseeing. The restaurant is top level. Even if it was crowded due to San Valentino, the service was perfect, kind and without... More

Went at low season when it was not full with guests. Service In general was excellent. Cleanliness in spa areas was mediocre to poor. There was a large, dead bug on the floor between the two pools at the Kneipp area two days in a row, which means the area was not cleaned at all. Floor was quite dirty in... More

My husband booked us 2 nights in the resort / Spa as a lovely getaway break from the kids. Driving up the place is impressive! Checkin: Very Efficient lady and she gave us a free upgrade to a Valley view room with a balcony. She personally brought us to our room. Room: The room was okay but as my husband... More

Tuscany is a wonderful place, especially off season. Fonteverde is not the best place to be, though. The hotel is very expensive, "leading hotels" type, anonymous rooms, no local charme at all. The spa structures are old and not very clean, the personnel unfriendly. Frankly speaking, I expected more...especially at that rate. Saturnia is much better...

Fantastic place, really lovely location, very well organized service. Try to get bigger rooms with a vallew view. Small rooms are really small and poor, not recommeded at all. I had to upgrade the room to have really comfortable conditions. Perfect natural mineral water SPA, sweeming pools.

We had a truly lovely, relaxing time here, and had a fabulous dinner in the hotel's restaurant - really great cuisine, ambiance and service. We were treated so nicely by the staff that I almost hate to say anything negative. But, it's not an inexpensive place and for what they're charging, they need to pay closer attention to room cleanliness... More

I'd been to the spa before and we decided to try the hotel-- it's 5 star, so you get all the extras like slippers, bathrobes, and turn down service-- we went there for the air conditioning during a terrible heat wave. We had a deluxe king, and it was more spacious than most Italian hotels. For the price, it's worth... More

The atmosphere is reminiscent of a Tuscan palace in former times, with quality furnishings and detailed decoration. Enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding Val d’Orcia park and admire the rolling hills and scenic setting punctuated by olive trees and vineyards. The hotel's spa is a multifunctional complex with the most up-to-date thermal treatments, a holistic centre and beauty centre.
