The new and very modern wellness hotel is very well located to explore the Algarve.

The rooms are modern and spacious. With lateral sea views, however, little sun on the balcony.
There were no German programs on TV.

Breakfast was really excellent! There were many fresh and healthy ingredients and three hot dishes (e.g. special scrambled eggs) to choose from daily. For me with gluten intolerance there was enough choice. Really great!

The course offering is also very good. We particularly liked the energy workshops. Great trainer and great course!

The infinity pool on top of the roof terrace is very nice. However, there are only about ten lying there and unfortunately no umbrellas (it would also be too windy). We had the pool mostly to ourselves and loved it.

The place itself is within 15 minutes walk. But there is also parking there if you want to go by car. Very nice little place with a few shops and very many nice restaurants. The beach is beautifully mega large and with jetties super suitable for running.

Unfortunately, the reception staff is not very friendly or trained for a 5 star hotel. No “welcome, can we help them with the suitcases”. And also no health welcome drink on arrival, as written in the accounting documents. The suitcases we then brought alone to the room and there was also a bottle of free water every day. All not bad, but not a five star standard. What bothered us the most is that the rooms with sea views and side sea views are close to ordinary single houses, and there are several dogs kept outside. They bark a lot and also at night and that was very disturbing.

All in all, however, a hotel we can recommend.

Beautiful adult only wellness hotel with an utterly relaxing atmosphere and an exceptionally varied Spa and treatment menu. I found them all exceptional. I highly recommend the detox massage on arrival, which beautifully put me into the mood.
Breakfast is fantastic and even includes powdered spirulina and other superfoods to add to your yoghurt. Lots of healthy choice but also cakes, cheese and cooked eggs. Nice bean to cup coffee machine to help yourself from is very well worth pointing out as coffee in wellness places can be awful at times! Restaurant is currently closed, but small choice of dishes available from the Pure Cafe, and there is supermarket just down the road and a large choice of restaurants in Alvor about 20 mins walk away. Taxis are not expensive. Spa environment is gorgeous but did not see much of me as I was too hungry for the sunshine. Private balcony in front of my exceptionally spacey "junior" room made for a wonderful sun trap until 4pm.
May be worth noting that the bathrooms are all fully see through - yes, the toilet too - , so that may be a consideration if you are not travelling solo.
This is exactly the rice place if you are looking for peace, quiet and pampering, otherwise you may find it too quiet.

We chose this hotel without really looking at the detail of what it had to offer as we needed an end of season break. From the moment we arrived to be greeted by absolute calm and tranquility we started to realise we had simply found paradise. All stresses and worries disappeared and for the first time in a long time we were able to relax and simply be together. The staff without exception were so kind and genuinely warm in the way they welcomed us and did everything they could to make our stay go so well. The whole hotel rang out with soothing gentle music and the wonderful aroma of essential oils, and our room was perfect containing everything you could require to a very high standard. We had gone for breakfast option and boy is there a breakfast! Everything healthy but also just about everything you could want in buffet style. So going to miss them! We also opted for access to the spa not knowing what that meant and again what a perfectly designed facility with towels and gowns provided we made full use of: the jacuzzi pool with its five different sections; the cooler salt water pool; the sauna; the steam room; the Himalayan salt room; the variety of different showers; the calm relaxation room; the loungers both inside an out. The spa was so good that we didn’t get to the infinity pool on the roof. Finally and much to our surprise we found that there were a number of activities put on by trained staff throughout the day (all included in price) so we dipped our toes into crystal therapy, Pilates, yoga, energetic healing, astrology and numerology. Incredible value for money.
To have a hotel like this on a holiday when we were also able to have some beach days too was simply heaven and I can say in all honesty we have never felt so relaxed. We can’t wait to come back!

The structure in appearance has a cutting-edge and eye-catching appearance. The interior, however, rather sparse and insignificant. The hotel does not have a garage and / or car cover, so vehicles are in the sun throughout their stay however exposed to frequent seagull droppings. The rooms are new and comfortable but the cleanliness, as noted by other guests, is not adequate to the level of a 5 star. Once the service has been requested several times during the six days of stay, the maids on the floors, in addition to not even removing surface dust, do not clean the room before 16:30 with the result that you can not use the Accommodation to rest or to change the costume after access to the Spa. And to think that in 5-star hotels the room is cleaned up twice a day....The staff at the reception is professional and polite and offers a good image to the structure. I can not say the same of some breakfast attendant (one in particular) who does not even greet guests on arrival in the room or approaches the table rudely clearing. Monotonous breakfast and, unfortunately, also not worthy of the category; products not always fresh and relatively varied choice. The last day I reported the presence of ants on the dessert table but the attendant, carelessly, simply removed them with a wet and already dirty cloth not even replacing contaminated products. I believe that the stay is not worth the price paid (in advance) and that nearby there are better and more competitive facilities in terms of value for money.

Terrible. The first day we saw that the shower had black mold mushrooms (including photos) and we warned reception. They sent in the cleaning staff and then they told us it took so long that they couldn't get it off. I asked for a change of room and was told there was nothing available but on the internet I still said there was room available to book. I attach pictures. Terrible.
On the other hand the "infinity" pool is very small, insufficient for the number of guests they have and insufficient hammocks as well.
The Laughing Spa, in 5-10 minutes we had already spent it whole. Never come back.

The Longevity Hotel does not deserve five stars. There were three of us travelling to this modern, stylish and beautiful hotel. The greeting and farewell were the best part of the whole thing ;-) although it started early with the obligation to wear swimming caps in the spa (if it was clean enough?! Then the rooms were swapped, single and double, it didn't matter, we could change ourselves. So we drove into town to buy swimming caps in Decathlon :-)) for our next day of wellness. Breakfast is small but completely sufficient and of good quality. Only the coffee is terrible and in a country like Portugal where oranges are thrown at you on every corner, I expect freshly squeezed orange juice, but it's a lot of work! There were two types of cold cuts on the first day and then never again. After breakfast we went to the wellness area; bathrobe for two out of three people was much too small. And I wouldn't describe myself as very fat at size 54. The self-proclaimed wellness and health hotel was unable to get us bathrobes until the end of our week!!!! So we went back to town to buy them ourselves. Then the towel debacle, you would assume that in a hotel of this size and star rating there are enough sauna and bath towels and you as a guest are not sent back and forth! Reception to spa and vice versa. I actually planned to have some treatments: but I completely forgot; the arrogance with which I was treated at the spa reception was ugly.
Wellness area very nice but water pools (ponds) far too small. The best thing is the sauna and the steam bath. Cleanliness could be better. And I am used to seeing fruit etc. in wellness areas, not in Longevity. Dinner was of good quality and seemed healthy but totally overpriced. And the best thing about the extremely small menu on the second evening was that the vegetable lasagne was no longer available :-(( All in all, a wonderful hotel that could use more care, both in terms of the rooms and the customers!!!!!!!!
Praise: only the breakfast service lady during the week, not at all the one at the weekend, and the waiter for the evening service was very friendly. Reception only got three quarters of praise.
Absolutely no praise, just criticism of the ladies at the reception, they didn't make my holiday any better. I can only recommend this hotel to a limited extent!!!!!!!!!

5-star hotel but with flaws that take away some truth from this classification.
Several elements of the SPA are either deactivated or functioning poorly.
Any deficiency in daily cleaning duly corrected after complaint. In a very good breakfast, the juices are somewhat artificial, and to get natural orange juice it had to be made on request, as it was not available at the buffet.
All the staff are helpful and very friendly.
I expected a little more, not only for the 5 stars, but also for the amount paid for a week's stay.

We picked this hotel for the spa, the first time we tried it the water was tepid . They said come early the next day, there was no heating there at all it was cold. hotel itself is quite stark it looks like an extension to the hospital next door. I tried every button to try and make the A/C work but was unsuccessful. The breakfast was limited. Didn’t offer much variation. We left the hotel early very disappointed, they have given us a voucher in recompense, If it’s transferable I will gladly give it to someone else. Don’t use their coffee machine in the restaurant it’s horrible. I believe they should be removed as a hotel and the limited menu for dinner is well overpriced

I don’t even know where to start with this hotel. It was absolutely amazing. By far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It was complete luxury from the first moment we arrived. The hotel looks gorgeous, and it is really peaceful and serene. The little touches are lovely, from the fresh fruit to the daily cold tea drinks and lots of lovely plants. The roof top infinity pool was something else. Absolutely beautiful. The spa was gorgeous too. Lovely sauna, steam room, heated pool, plunge pool, salt room, and nice hot beds. Everything was so well done, very well maintained and felt very luxurious. The hotel room was spacious with a lovely balcony to sit and enjoy the view. The bed was massive and super comfortable and the sheets and towels all smelt really fresh and clean. The room was spotless. Daily turndown service was a treat too and we always came back to a lovely tidy and relaxing room. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. There was yogurt with fresh and dried fruit pastries, bread with jams and peanut butter, vegetables, meats and fish, boiled eggs, and there three daily cooked specials. They had gluten free rolls which came out in a special packet and were warm and very nice. We did a few of the well-being classes, and really enjoyed the walk to the Alvor market on the Sunday morning. We were helpfully shown around Alvor and given some great restaurant recommendations. Barbara’s yoga classes were fantastic. Challenging but beginner friendly too. Loved her approach to yoga and how much fun she had with us. She is a real credit to the hotel. Can honestly say the staff really made this hotel. They consistently went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy and comfortable. They were super friendly and engaging. I would give this hotel ten stars if I could. Loved everything about it and am already desperate to go back. Wonderful wonderful hotel.

I stayed at this hotel 10 days
don't take a room overlooking the sea because the sea is far away but on the other hand you have seen zoo with dogs barking all the time day and night
beautiful but little cared for structure
cleaning not from 5 stars done wrong
sheets changed once in 10 days
dirty towels left to and folded and put as clean
paper and plastic cups in a 5 star never seen
lack of a simple costume hanger or towel to dry returning from the pool
BREAKFAST
10 days with only one orange juice concentrated in a plastic bin and prepared in front of us stretching with water (I tried to ask for another type but without any feedback) not even an Inn uses this system
Just simple juice since in Portugal oranges abound in every corner
cappuccino or coffee only in the automatic machine
every day broken
Inattentive staff always had to call to warn if something ended
always the same very repetitive dishes
STAFF
poorly customer-oriented reception staff I called about the mailbox breaking on day 5 and they never showed up to repair
do not like to greet with good morning
