Hotel clearly in need of a serious renovation and modernization. The outer space and the sympathy/availability of the employees are the only most valuable. The rooms look very old and the furniture is too old. Daily cleaning is at least, deficient. The day I entered there was a huge layer of dust in the TV area. At least for check-in should pay more attention, since the first Readership is the most important. I visited in August 2023 and returned in 2024 because a deep remodeling was planned, but actually little or nothing was done. They just opened the indoor pool. The adult pool was very dirty, it was not possible to see the bottom, nor close to it. It has the potential to be one of the best family holiday hotels in the Algarve, but it probably needs, in my opinion, a more professional management. The absurd amount paid, at least in August, is by no means well employed. I saw several customers indignant with numerous situations, from the coffee machines always being refuelled (which generated long waiting times) to the lack of quality / presentation / taste of meals. I believe there are satisfied guests with this hotel, but I will definitely not visit again.

Do not go to this hotel if you are English. They favour everyone else over the English. The animation lady is rude and doesn't even give the English the time of day. There is a free bus 4 times a day to alvor centre which you have to get a ticket for half an hour before, got our ticket on 2 occasions first, only when the mini bus arrives to pick up the English are pushed to the back of queue again and told to wait. Rooms are very outdated and if you are at the front of the hotel you over look the car park and a derelict hotel. Lots of Portuguese come here on there holidays. We were the only English people here and wanted to get involved but was left out massively. The food was nice but very repetitive. Drinks were nice once you got what you actually asked for.

Hotel that is only worth 2 stars. When you wait your turn at the bar to be served if Portuguese come after you the bartender serves them first. Very far from town. Shuttle schedule not appropriate. What about mediocre food. My wife and I have been travelling for several years and this is the first time the taxi company has dropped us off on a sidewalk 500m from the Inn in the middle of the night. And back to the airport idem. No kettle no coffee in the room, just 2 bottles of water not renewed. From alvor to FARO 74km with a motorway more than 1h50 drive drops off or boards different travelers in several hotels in the area. We did the jeep safari portitour excursion Time is limited, a Guide if you haven't finished the meal in his allotted time he might shake you up a bit what happened to me (these favorite words my loves my darlings). Coral animations non-existent. Only the coralia facilitator who takes care of excursions and a pearl, she does everything possible to advise you ,and listening to you . I'm not going back to this hotel. And I'm really not Trip Tip. If you still want to try your luck good luck.

We had an unforgettable stay at The Navigator - Palm Oasis Alvor! This 4-star resort provided wonderful moments for the whole family. The swimming pools, especially the children's pool with the inflatable slide, were the children's favorite place. The Kids Club offered fun activities every day, keeping the little ones entertained.
The rooms were spacious and well decorated, with balconies that provided a lovely view. The food in the buffet restaurant was quite varied and delicious, and the all-inclusive plan made our holiday completely relaxed. During the day, there was lots of entertainment for both adults and children, and at night, we enjoyed live music entertainment.
The ambiance of the resort, with its serene gardens and lakes, was perfect for relaxing. The location was also convenient, with Alvor Beach a short drive or via the hotel shuttle service.
The team was very friendly and attentive from the first day until the end of our stay. They made us feel at home.
We highly recommend this getaway in the Algarve for a relaxed and unforgettable family holiday!

I've always heard the expression: "The good son the house makes" and that's what happened with Palm Oasis Alvor. After a visit in the summer of 2023 that ran inside the shows, although it was the first year with the new management, we decided to return for a longer vacation this year.
This year I noticed some improvements: a more dynamic animation team focused on both children and adults; A substantial improvement in buffets, both in variety and quality, highlighting the fantastic creams my daughters loved, such as the variety of salads and fruits, which improved considerably over last year. Regarding the staff of the buffet and bars I have to congratulate because they are always ready people, extremely nice and professional and I highlight here two names: Mr. Vini Abreu and Mr. José Luis Conceição (if the memory does not fail me these are their names), no doubt they made our meals much more pleasant. This year also opened the indoor pool, a space that can undoubtedly be successful and keep the hotel open in the winter months too
Unfortunately, this year we had a less interesting appointment with the reception, but that was solved with the professionalism of the Head of Reception Mr. Gonçalo (although we have had a not so pleasant experience with another employee, who unfortunately do not know the name, Mr. Gonçalo through the Director of this space solved my question which left me very happy and willing to return).
In the rooms there was no intervention yet, but are spacious rooms, with balcony, air conditioning and a good bathroom.
The outdoor space is the high point of this hotel space, with a few lawn fields, lakes, children's park and two outdoor pools, one of which with inflatable that makes the delight of the smallest.
I leave a last positive point that was the recovery of forgotten items in the pool area: twice we left a tape from my daughter and a t-shirt from my husband that the next day were in the missing and found area of the reception.
I hope they continue to make their mark on family holidays.

I stayed at this hotel with my family, and it was the ideal place to go with young children. The team is very available and attentive and takes great care of the children, which was great for resting. Huge outdoor space for kids to run around. The rooms and food are a good value for money.

Horrible hotel. The first day we arrived, the rooms were dirty, full of spiders, sheets full of hair and bugs. The buffet, the worst I have ever seen in my life, super scarce food, no charity, the first day we already had to go out to dinner because when there were 40 minutes left to close the buffet there was no longer any food and they said they were no longer restocking. THE HOTEL IS NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

Overall mediocre lousy food Poor cleaning in a 4-star hotel that doesn't even reach two If you don't want to get sick, don't eat at the buffet, it's horrible. They do not have a live griddle, the frozen vegetables put 4 crudite, 4 frozen griddle cakes, a lot of fried food and they recycle food from lunch to dinner.

We were on holiday from 30/09 to 07/10 in the company of a child with special needs, and we were quite pleased and will definitely return to this hotel. The sttaf was inexcusable, especially the restaurant in particular Mr. Reggae, as well as the glory (animation) and victoria of the pool bar. feeding is varied and the bar card has several options. The facilities are good, so we highly recommend for a family holiday.

Everything went well during the stay, from highlighting how positive the outdoor environment of the garden and pool, less positive however enough the facilities already with some antiquity and the meals could include a barbecue on board to there more variety! Perfect stay for families with children, the animation could also be improved! Staff always friendly
