We came for a music festival, hosted at the hotel and other venues across the region. We had a studio room overlooking the pool, the room was modern, spacious and clean.
The beds comfortable and there was ample closet space, but not many hangers so we purchased some more. We stayed a week, maid service is every 3 days, by day two the floor needed a mop and we could have used fresh towels & more toilet roll, we couldnt find any cleaning supplies at all in the room, not even a dish cloth to wash up or any washing liquid, I think these should be supplied so people can keep things clean themselves. All in all the room & hotel has great faciliaties and the rooms are comfortable, but what makes this hotel stand out is the 1st class restuarant, managed by the amazing Monica. This is no standard hotel resturant, I would come back just for the food its that good. From a reasonably priced, delicious buffet breakfast, to one of the best fish soups we've ever tasted for lunch, everything is cooked to perfection with tonnes of flavour, even the sandwiches & burgers taste elevated. They have an impressive eveninv meny to with lots of fresh seafood & other options. What tops it off is the amazing service, Monica and her team are the best in the business! Thanks Monica for making our stay a memorable one.

Our house was excellent and the servicing of it was of a high standard. It was also by a pool which was very handy for kids.

The service outside of the house on site was poor with a very officious reception staff and very poor customer service at the Atlantic pool. The bathroom was also less than one would expect at the Atlantic pool especially when the loungers cost €19 and a scoop of ice cream was €3!! I had to ask that it could be cleaned before I could use it one morning and that was at 10 am so it was obviously not done the night before.

The landscaping of the grounds needs some love and attention the whole place needs a lift, some houses need painting and paths need weeding.

The supermarket on site was excellent with great service but the pizza restaurant was hit and miss and would benefit from a terrace and a cafe vibe rather than just pizza etc in the evening.

Over all, the service and the services left the experience down for us.

The apartment was clean modern with with plenty of ameneties.
Also quite spacious with a well equipt kitchen and free wifi.

The onsite restaurante is reasonably priced with quality produce, fresh seafood and a full spread buffet is available for breakfast...Invluding fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, juices a.nd a full english.

The hospitality in the family run restaurant is top notch, and nothing is too much trouble all you have to do os ask.

Would definately come back.

Just back from a week spent here, 3 adult family members. Unfortunately this complex did not live up to our expectations, having read quite a few positive reviews.
This accommodation is very far out from the centre of Alvor, if you want a quiet location then it is for you. We were fine with quiet, the pool area never got crowded which was nice.
We rented out a 1 bed apartment and a studio, both were spotlessly clean. However those are the only positives about this place. I have to mention the beds, they have what felt like boards covered in sheets, non existent mattresses which made sleeping comfortably very difficult. The staff generally were not overly friendly or helpful, with the exception of one person, Monica in the restaurant, we had breakfast included but unfortunately this wasn’t great, no variation at all every morning, and a lot of food on offer very lacking in quality. The whole apartment block and main pool are very tired and neglected looking. This place really needs some rejuvenation. The pool is a disgrace, with tiles falling off, paint lifting off the bottom, and green algae forming around the edge of the whole pool. This was the most disappointing aspect of the facility.
When we checked out we got one word from the person who took our keys, that was ‘ok’, no enquiry as to how our experience was or any other conversation.
To summarise, we would definitely not return here, too many things fell short of reasonable expectation.

We stayed whilst attending a music festival and it was our first time at this hotel. On arrival the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The one bedroom apartment was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The bed was comfortable. We ate at the restaurant several times which we found very reasonably priced for a hotel and the food was of a very good standard and very generous portions. The staff in the restaurant are really friendly and attentive.
The coastline and beach are a short walk from the hotel and is literally stunning ( there are steep steps down to the beach as the hotel and grounds are built on a cliff)
The only niggles were a badly placed tiny door stop in the bathroom which both myself and my husband stubbed our toes on. Ouch! and having to ask for an iron and ironing board. I think these things should be provided in each apartment.
Other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will return in the future

Restuarante Prainha Clube

Stayed for 1 week, whilst attending Soul In The Algarve music festival and my 60th birthday.
Monika and her team in the restaurant and poolside bar make this break a joy to return each year. The quality of ingredients and presentation make for delicious and very good value food. Service is always with a smile, even though the team works constantly from 7am til midnight. We can’t wait to return next year.

The hotel provides everything you could expect and more, from a budget hotel, in beautiful surroundings with lots to see and do nearby. It offers self catering facilities and has a small shop on site providing the essentials.
Larger supermarkets a short can ride away.

We are leaving the Prainha Clube today and we wanted to thank both Ana and Dora for making our stay extremely special and welcoming. We would also like to recommend restaurant /bar which is run by Monica who is both friendly and helpful and not forgetting Miss Pasta this restaurant is excellent and the meals we ate were as good as any we had here and you don’t need to leave the complex. With regards to the accommodation it’s everything you need for a week away in the sun , the room is well stocked with all you need the cleaners are excellent and keep the room very clean. It’s about a 40 minute walk to Alvor along the broad walk and we have done this every day and sometimes twice !!! It’s a lovely walk especially as the sun is setting. Overall I would highly recommend this . and the only thing you might need to consider is renting a car especially if your the same age as ourselves 😉in your sixty’s not vital but if only because the public transport is very unreliable.

Beautiful very special unique resort, located in its own grounds with close proximity to the beach and a scenic boardwalk 30 min walk to Alvor town. The Atlantic pool is very nice and beautifully situated near views of the sea. Very clean, comfy beds, nice balcony overlooking the main pool, food was very good, the staff were friendly and host Monica was very nice and helpful. The hotel restaurant offers food all day and also offers a takeout service which was very handy. We went in September so was quiet and peaceful. Hope to return. Teresa Owen.

Just back. It's just OK . We were 4 girls travelling and had a 2 bed apartment. It only has one bathroom. No mirrors in the bedroom or in the bathroom, so imagine 4 girls ! It's a little run down also, and the balcony is tiny, with only 2 chairs on it and no table. The Atlantic pool is fab, but we never stayed as you have to pay €15 , which i felt was outrageous as a paying hotel guest. The pool beside reception is very run down and lacks any type of real atmosphere. Beach is beautiful. I ate a couple at the restaurant at the reception, it was nice. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, so helpful. It's a mixed bag.

Just home from an amazing, fun, relaxing week in Alvor. We stayed in Prainha Clube and would like to give a very special shout out to Monica and her team in Restaurante Prainha Clube. Extensive menu and every single meal absolutely fresh and delicious.
Monica took time out to meet and get to know every single guest and everyone that walked through the door was made feel special. Her attention to detail and warm welcome was second to none.
She made a wonderful week even move special, actually can't recommend her and her staff enough.
Looking forward to our next visit already.

No. You need to rent an apartment and get an entrance wristband to show the attendants. The town has an indoor public pool and there are water parks in the area.
