Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The location is perfect, view on the sea. 100m from the main restaurant/ bars street Really nice staff, always here for you.
It is clean and loved to have a kitchen. Also made really nice friends who were my roommates.

Alvor Hostel is probably the only place made for Backpackers in the village! Alvor itself, has a privileged location both for partying and doing sports, and a calm and cozy lifestyle compared with the craziness of the most popular places in Algarve. The Hostel has a couple of outside areas with pillows and couches, and a massive well equipped kitchen. Both of them perfect to be used has social areas. The toilets are clean and very functional. The room have lockers and are located in a calmer area of the house. I loved to stay there during one week and for sure will come back with friends or family ;-)

The guest house was tired but very clean. The female cleaning staff worked really hard and were helpful. That was the positive... The room we were in was overlooked by the kitchen so when people came in and put the light on at night it shone right into the bedroom. The most worrying part of our stay was the difficulty we had in using the keys in the locks. The front door leading onto the street was really tricky to open and took us up to half an hour to get in.People passing helped and found it difficult. Sometimes it worked, most of the time it didn't. I raised this issue on the second day with a member of staff but didn't get it resolved. The door leading off the stairs into the bedrooms was equally difficult to open and both my friend and I got trapped in the hallway on different occassions. A male worker was very aggressive to us when we complained about this, shouting and arguing until I asked him to phone the manager. The house did not feel safe, edpecially if there had been a fire. I emailed the owner about these points but I'm still waiting for a reply.

Well located, very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful! Alvor is a very nice place to go in Algarve because there are many wonderfull beaches and is not a very crowd place (at least on June)....

The staff was incredibly kind and willing to help make the experience in the hostel and Alvor the best possible. Perfect accommodation for just about any traveller! The location is perfect, a one minute walk into town and only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, which is an incredible place to explore! There are tons of activities to do around Alvor that the staff was more than willing to help out organzing. I would highly recommend staying the Ria Hostel Alvor to anyone planning a trip through Portugal!

I met a friend for a short trip in Alvor. We stayed in a dorm for 6 women but they also have a family room. The hostel was clean and quiet and the owners are kind and helpful. The hostel is handy for the centre of town and the coast. Highly recommended!

This is an absolutely cosy place to stay for some days or weeks. Not only the location is centric but very very calm and discrete. One of the best views of the Ria-Natural resort and a good view of the shore line. Owners are really cool and did everything to make you have a relaxed stay. It is like a family but with maximum freedom, just like someone wrote in a kitesurf board there. Two floors with very funny furmiture. Beds are top quality and the kitchen has a small and fun library, table and children games, including a Playstation. All the kitchen ware you need to bring fresh fish from the famous fish market of Alvor. Last but not the least, you may stare to one historical monument just in front....

We decided to tour Portugal and not plan for a couple of nights so we weren't restricted to places if we found a cool spot. It turns out that we found the best spot ever. We booked last minute, they had a laundry service for a small fee, the amenities were perfect. Where we stayed had 2 levels of terrace to see the sun set over the ocean. We also were steps away from restaurants and the beach. I would stay there again for sure!

When i booked this to be honest i really didn't know what it would be like be i had no need to be concerned. I stopped in a twin room with en-suite on my own, it was very clean but basic, quite and right in the middle of Alvor. You can be in a bar in under a minute or on the beach in 10 it was perfect

Ciao Corina, grazie per averci scelto. Se la camera che hai prenotato è quella con un solo letto matrimoniale, si tu avrai il bagno privato. Ma se invece la camera da te scelta dovesse essre quella famigliare con vista mare, lì il bagno è in comune.
