Two pilegrims on the camino had a lot of space and hot water to clean ourselves and our things. A small 'private' garden made it easy to descretely dry the things. Lovely breakfast. Some dust might have been removed better, but it all felt very clean.

Decided to overnight here after disembarking the ferry at Santander. Lovely, attractive village quite near the sea. The posada is quite hard to find and it is up a slope, but this is a hilly area. The family running the place are friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite basic but clean (and for a one night stay very adequate)....

I stayed here for five nights with my wife and my mother and father (who are both in their early 70s and not as fit as they used to be) The Posada La Solana is a pretty, quirky hotel run by a lovely family, who are both welcoming and friendly to all their guests. The clientele seem to be mainly...

We arrived to a very warm and friendly welcome from 2 delightful little helpers. They fetched the keys and showed us to our rooms, even opening the doors for us. Our rooms were very spaceous and clean, with a very large bright bathroom. Everything we needed. Breakfast was varied and plentiful and the service was first class. Nothing was too...

La Solada Montanesa lies just minutes off the village center - by foot - but by car it is very tricky to find. The best bet is to catch a sign in the historical centre and follow it. The last 200 meters is the steepest and narrowest entry to a hotel I have seen. (My TomTom did not know the...

Tricky to find, up the hill and round the back! Quite a lot of rooms, space for parking and sofas on the terrace. The familly are very friendly, not much English which was great for our Spanish. The room was spotless. It is a quiet location and yet only 6 minutes walk from the town centre. The town is unusual...

We stayed here for one night in July 2011. We arrived in Comillas without prebooking anywhere, and really choose this due to the car park. It is a lovely guesthouse, the lady at reception was very nice and very friendly. She showed me two different rooms and allowed me to choose the nicest one. At 79euro per night it was...
