Loved this hotel - rooms are beautiful (though small) and very clean. The hotel itself is a great little hotel right in the centre of the old town, in a pedestrian only street, full of restaurants. The host is a lovely guy and always happy to help. Great place to stay during a visit to Cambados!
I couldn't quite pull the trigger on reserving this hotel - it looked very small and cheap in the photos. I'm so happy we stayed there - fantastic location RIGHT in the centre of the town. The road in front is pedestrian only, but don't be fooled - the pedestrians in Cambados are out to have fun and the noise level at night can be quiet loud. Luckily the front rooms have great triple glazing and nothing can be heard when they are closed. The whole place is immaculate, yes, a little tacky on some of the decor items but the look is sweet, fresh, clean and the price is unbeatable. The bathroom was extremely clean, the shower pressure excellent and a decent size for such a historic building. Breakfast is served across the street in a cafe - dont even think about the chocolate muffins, the local cake served with every coffee.....the pastries are superb......!!!! they do however offer hotel guests juices, healthy options and eggs etc. sit on the pavement and watch the world go by or inside and let the super friendly staff take care - everybody was so charming and helpful. Cambados is a great find- located perfectly for vineyard visit, restaurants, sight seeing it could not be more idyllic for strolling, dining, or exploring and it is so fun. surrounded by excellent restaurants, shops and cafes its 100% perfect. Fantastic value for money. Would go back in a heart beat.…
This 7-room hotel is directly on the pedestrian street area, about 50 m from the plaza of Bodegas Fefinanes. Google Maps tried to get us to drive on the pedestrian street, otherwise, the hotel was easy to find and parking nearby was easy. Great staff. The hotel owns a vineyard and sells wine in their shop, as well as numerous tasty liquores; Terra Santa is one of the albarino wine labels. We initially booked a nice, though small room, which we changed the next day for a MUCH larger one (105 vs. 95 Euro, worth it). As the location is directly on the pedestrian street, noise at night is present, but the windows block the noise quite well. Wifi just okay in the rooms; worked very well in the lobby area.
We stayed here for only one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Beautiful building in a very central street in Cambados. Stylish and comfortable room and a wonderful place to rest your head after working your way through a few glasses of Albarino!
The hotel is in a great location in the middle of Cambados. It has been decorated very tastefully and our room was beautiful with high ceilings and lovely stone walls. Breakfast is across the road in a cafe. The receptionist gives you a voucher and you can exchange it for a coffee, orange juice and a pastry or toast. It was very nice, but not enough for my boyfriend and he was starving by lunch time. I would have loved to give this hotel 5 stars, but there were a few things that didn't make our stay perfect. We arrived at 14:45 and the hotel was shut. There was a phone number on the door that I called and someone came from the restaurant around the corner to check us in. Not a massive issue, but I expect to see a hotel open at check in time, specially as we had lunch reservations at 15:00 and wanted to get changed. Unfortunately, we didn't sleep well, as our neighbour came back to the hotel drunk and kept talking loudly directly underneath our room until 00:40 when he decided to go to bed!…
