We visited for lunch only but the food was fantastic and so was the service, we ordered a sea food platter for two, you could have fed 3 and it came a course a at time. We were so impressed we visited again 2 days later and it was an hours drive from our hotel, that's how good it was. Downside for some of us, I don't speak Spanish and only one waiter spoke English so we wee lucky as I have food allergies and it would have been a problem. The hotel looked really nice and would definitely stay there if we returned to that area.

Great hotel with a staff that welcoming you as a family member. Pilar and Mercedes were super kind and professional, giving us wonderful recommendations to eat and places to visit. Pilar even has print outs for us about some cellars in town to visit. The housekeeping staff was always friendly and left our rooms impeccable and in time. Rooms are very good, good shower space and nice balcony. Gardens were the top of the hotel, flowers blooming everywhere filling the air with nice perfume. Breakfast was OK. The location is really good to explore the little town of Cambados even when the hotel sits on the outside of the city, but it's a five minutes or less drive to the city center. Free parking in the premises is always convenient to those traveling by car.

Most things have been said in previous reviews, and it is all true: nice and friendly hotel, old fashioned in a positive sense. What has not been mentioned: floors are made of marble which tends to be noisy and walls are paper thin.
