Situated 5km from the start of the camino Ingles this hotel was ideal for our needs. Our flight was arriving very late so their out of hours option through an automated kiosk outside was perfect for our needs. The room was rudimentary but at this price point ot was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend

Arriving later than we had planned the Hotle owner coudn't have been more helpful or friendly.
There were 9 of us stayign for 1 night before starting out on th eCamino Inglese to Santiago de Comostella. We were offered some Tapas and when it came there were large platters loaded down wirth Octopus, squid, Mussles , Pork , Hake and chicken served with lots of bread and salad. We also had quite a large amout of the local wine and followed it with desset , tea and coffee..After a very good nights sleep he saw us off with a full Englisjh Breakfast ready to start our long walk.

A group of 7 of us started our walk of the Camino Ingles from Ferrol deciding to stay at the Hotel Ferrol for our first night. The staff were so welcoming even coming out onto the street to help with rucsacs. We were showered with hospitality by the owner who shared stories in his excellent English and fed us wonderful tapas one after the other until we decided we really better go to bed! The Hotel was clean, comfortable and good value - and lunch the next day before we left was delicious.

I stayed here the night before starting El camino ingles. They were very friendly!! They even asked what time we wanted our breakfast ready so that we could start El camino early. The walls are a bit thin, but the beds were comfy, it was clean, and I had no problems here. I would recommend if you need a simple, cheap, and friendly place to stay before starting El Camino. They have a stamp for your credencial.

Me and my friends cane here on a school trip for a week we had a pleasant stay here. Since we were on a school trip we had a private room to eat breakfast. The beds were quite comfortable. Though I would say the free WiFi was very slow as me and my friend were trying watch a movie, but it stopped and we couldn’t watch it. The bathroom was great but we didn’t have a bath only a shower. There was a park a two minute walk away along with an exercise park and a supermarket which sold food, school supplies, toys, toy machines and a lot more. Ferrol was a very nice city!

We were warmly greeted, shown adequate rooms(one was re-arranged on request then), the restaurant was open till 11pm, the breakfast served early for us. The manager was generous as we accidentally booked an extra room He gave us a map of the town with directions to where we needed to walk Our first night in Spain was enjoyable Our Camino got off to a good start

Has the official stamp for camino, nice people, from here you can go direct to camino to avoid city center... A little bit far from center for tourists purposes, but quiet and 20 minutes walk from city center

Clean rooms and friendly staff. It is a good place for starting your Camino Ingles.
You can collect your Credential from the reception and to be advised by the staff. I really recommend it for such a travel reason.

The Hotel Silva was the perfect place for us to prepare for the pilgrimage walk to Santiago along the St James route, 120 km away. It is a clean, friendly, laid back hotel, with good service and all that is necessary for a comfortable stop.

"I didn't see any other rooms than the one we stayed in. It had an air of cleanliness and orderliness. Basic but good. Back of the hotel rooms upstairs on the 4th floor such as ours have a view of the backs of houses."
