We decided to break our journey and discovered this jewel of a place tucked away on the banks of the river The welcome was friendly, and the staff in general couldn't do enough. The room was basic but clean, and the views spectacular. Our fillet steaks were incredible, and apart from a few weird bumps in the night ( well...

Beautifully located pub on the River Wye; a fantastic setting in the summer and not too bad on a dreary November day. Nice, friendly staff, with great food. Very welcoming, even to our spaniel. Always good to find dog-friendly pubs. Highly recommended.

I've just got back from a weekend here and absolutely loved it. Helpful and genuinely friendly staff from the young girl who checked us in, the guy who runs the place and the very left lady at breakfast. We ate here both nights and can't fault the food. Huge and great quality. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. Locally you can...

The welcome we had when we arrived was excellent and warm. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The room was clean and warm (Outside was very cold). Logs fires in the bar, nice. Well worth a weekend visit. Good beer also.

After struggling a little down a dark narro lane, we found Jamie and his Inn very welcoming. fire roaring, comfortable rooms and food. Wok up next t a flowing river and sunshine outside - a beautiful location, truly.

A lovely traditional inn, in a wonderful location. Slightly rough around the edges, as might be expected from an old building, but a warm and genuine welcome with log fires and good beer. An excellent breakfast of local produce.

Beautiful setting, very nice inside, but food quality poor as steak in pies had clearly been burnt on bottom of pan, pate was tasteless with cheap toast, sticky toffee pudding was more go get than toffee and honeycomb ice cream was more vanilla and not great quality at that. Add to that when we finally got home we discovered we...

Stayed here again for another two nights & experienced the usual high standard of attentive & friendly service from Jamie & all the staff we dealt with. The Inn is an idilic getaway from it all, set in the heart of the Wye valley with excellent panoramic views over the river & surrounding countryside. It's peaceful & relaxing location is...
