Visited here whilst staying nearby for a family meal. Service and food both excellent, Food freshly cooked to order well worth a visit. We were a group of seven people (even our two little dogs were welcome) nice traditional restaurant

We stopped here for sunday lunch. We arrived at 2.25pm, not knowing they stopped serving roast dinner at 2.30pm. However, the staff were so welcoming & friendly & advised ot would be fine as long as we ordered as soon as possible. We shared a started of home cooked scotch egg which was lovely. My husband had the beef &...

The food here was excellent, very chilled with a superb log fire roaring away. We enjoyed the scotch egg followed by a burger and tartiflette, all of which were superb. Not cheap but you get what you pay for! I'd definitely suggest the scramble up to the top of Symonds Yat, burn those calories off!

The welcome from the staff was warm , my room , although small , had an amazing view and had everything I needed .The atmosphere...

After a long walk through the nearby woods and staying at the hotel next door, my husband and I visited the Saracens pub at 2pm on a November Saturday for a well deserved pint. The outside seating and the pub itself was heaving, mainly walkers and dog owners. As it was a gorgeous but crisp (the coldest weekend so far)...

fantastic scenery is on tap, couple that with a fabulous B&B like the Saracen's Head and you're onto a winner. Food was lovely, especially the hearty breakfast that sets you up for any day spent either following one of the many walks, or just watching the river flow past. The staff cater for your every need, rooms are clean and...
