Spent the night in the sea view suite. Room is lovely with a gorgeous round seating/table overlooking the sea. Great to have a drink watching the world go by/watch sunset. Nice little balcony also. Breakfast was gorgeous and more beautiful sea views. Staff were all polite and very helpful. Food in restaurant was lovely and reasonable. Could perhaps think of...

Went here to make the most of a sunny day and had a great lunch, lovely cod and chips all served with a smile. Plenty of tables outside and a great view out to sea.. Good little find and worth a visit if you are passing. Friendly staff and good food choice.

We stayed at the hotel for one night as the location appealed to me. The hotel itself is nice and clean and the staff very friendly. We had a lovely view in our superior sea view room. We arrived at lunchtime and needed to eat so ordered lunch, which, I really enjoyed especially as I am very fussy. The only...

Booked this last minute for a shirt weekend getaway. Looking over Botany Bay we had lovely walk in the bay and walk along the cliff , even with the rain. Room was clean and well equipped but it was quite dark with the lights on. No light on the dressing table so although a mirror on wardrobe inside door hard...

We (family of four)stayed for two nights at this wonderfully sited hotel. The reception we got on arrival was very welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and wll decorated. The family room was perfect for us and the bathroom was clean and had loads of soap, shower gel etc. In the room we had tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits....

Best thing about this hotel is undoubtedly its location, and it is also moderately priced by UK standards. Rooms are comfortable and quite spacious (especially the sea view ones) but the decor and finish is a little dated and sometimes (notably on the balcony) well past redecorating time. Food is competent, but really unimaginative, and although we expected there to...

In May 2016 I made a short trip to Broadstairs to go house hunting. I booked The Botany Bay Hotel and was very pleased that I did. I have stayed in many hotels both in the UK and abroad over the years, but few have been perfect. I have to say I could not find a single fault with The...

Great location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was facing the back but very nicely finished, great bedding, towels, tea / coffee making facilities. If you ask you can have fresh milk in a mini flask. Room was clean, soap products of high quality. We love the location - a good walk into Broadstairs or Margate, seeing all the...

We stayed here with our two teenagers in a large family room in the roof. Our room had two single beds and a large double, two large TVs, sofa, desk and dressing table and stereo. The bathroom was spacious with a lovely bath ( the deepest I've ever been in) and a shower. Plenty of wardrobe space, we felt really...

Visiting family In Broadstairs, this hotel is a bit off the beaten track and quite isolated but, as a result provides stunning views and walks. The rooms are very clean, a bit dated but comfortable apart from the lumpy pillows. The hotel offers a bar and restaurant but no other amenities Breakfast was good, with a good choice, but my...
