Course was OK. Traps were unplayable because of weeds, rocks and no rakes. Cart paths needed attention. No ball washers. Our Stay & Play package was supposed to include unlimited golf, but this was not the case. You could only book extra golf after you finished your first round, and only if there were any openings available. Trailer was in new phase with construction ongoing. Dump trucks, excavators, back up horns and lots of dust all day long. Bathroom was filthy, deck and lawn chairs were covered in dust and we had to clean them everyday if we wanted to use them.

Thank you Maddie for looking after our family and making sure we could use kayaks when there was an early shutdown on the kayaks and canoes. Lots to do from kayaking, tennis , swimming and even fishing off dock on last day. Nice environment with friendly people. Nice golf course, very challenging. Even got help from one of the residents when we found ourselves with a flat tire on last day there.

We stayed here this past weekend. The cottages are tiny trailers not really cottages. We went with two other families. We all paid the same amount for our cottage yet our cottage was extremely tiny compared to the other two families and we didn't even get basic amenities. There was no cable or internet, while the other families did get these amenities. The worst part was that we couldnt even get hot water so my toddlers were forced to take ice cold showers. When we attempted to contact the staff to inquire about the water no one answered the phones or returned our voice messages the entire weekend. We were told the kayak rentals were open until 5pm and were available on a first come first serve basis. When we returned at 4pm hoping the crowd for rentals would be less we discovered they closed the rentals early so we didn't get to use it. There was no one controlling the pools. We couldn't find the sanitation stuff to clean the seats as it was stated on the welcome sheet. It has now been two days and I am still waiting for management to call me back to discuss my experience. I am not happy with our experience especially given how much you pay.

Came for two nights with two couples for a golf trip. The property is quite nice. Golf course is very hilly and the greens are very challenging. The resort is quite disorganized and needs much better staffing. Seems like high school kids are working at most positions. It was difficult to get proper information including the size of the beds in the accommodations. Our trailer had one queen bedroom and the other two bedrooms had single beds, not big enough for an adult male. Things need to be much better organized.

Sept 22-25/20 My pals and I booked the Stay and Play (golf) at BWR, booking the stay through Great Blue resorts. When going to book tee-times we were very disappointed to hear that NO tee-times were available for the period of time we were there. Mind you, late afternoon times were offered... When we arrived, the Bellemere staff ( Kallista, Brent and Melissa) were very accommodating. Check in was smooth. I addressed the unavailability of tee-times. They were very understanding and stated they have been working on this ongoing issue. Kallista said she would try her best to acquire and notify if times became available. Melissa, the booking manager was prepared to discuss compensation for this inconvenience. In the interim, we booked times at local tracks. Fortunately we had to cancel 2 of those times because Bellmere followed up and were able to find times for 2 of our 3 days. Thank you to Justin/Golf Director for making a time available for us. Kallista followed up as she intended to find another time for us. Her support and efforts are greatly appreciated along with the rest of BWR crew. They were even instrumental in arranging fantastic weather for us!! Thank you.

So played here for the last 4yrs twice a month with 6 to 8 of us we love the course. We go to play on the weekend and the guy said that will be 101 bucks. Wait what? It’s always been 78 or 79 dollars. If you r going to charge Muskoka money make sure your gps’s are working and maybe grounds keeper could fix the greens there more divets in the greens then the tee boxes on some of them. So sad it just ain’t worth the $$$$.

Great Blue Resorts - Bellmere Winds Resorts. Like to give a shout out to Arika Brown who checked us in and Kalista Childs who looked after our golf needs. First time we stayed at this resort, had a wonderful time enjoyed the beach, pools and especially the splash pad/pool in Phase 2. Would most likely return.

The word resort has a nice rich and luxurious ring to it. Resort does not apply to this place. These are basically trailers that are dressed up but are still trailers. Is there a Hilton close by?? Grounds: the grounds are nice and clean. nothing special but clean and well kept. Nicest part of the grounds - the drive into the grounds overlooking the hills and the water. Tennis court , swimming pool and basketball count are on site. bring your equipment because of covid. Pool has a limit 20 people, 30 minutes - not much being respected but it wasn’t that bad. Trailer: 500 Sq ft. 3 rooms, 1 bathroom. owner locked one room as it was for his young daughter. understandable - especially in covid times but if you are worried. don’t rent. rooms are small and cramped - again- this is a trailer not a cottage. Furnishings - most things are available, no wifi or TV - who doesn’t have one or other. Safe to say - lots of talking Bed: i can’t find them ????? oh wait - my back!!! night 1 of 6 - doubt there will be a night two but let’s see. beds are as thin as paper. no tv in the ‘Resort’ trailer. Owner says it sleeps 7. 7 little people maybe but definitely not 7 adults. Realistically -2 adults and 2 kids under 10. anything else is a lie. 1 am - can’t sleep - back is killing so i am posting. bunk beds are nice but mattress is thin. is it Thursday yet.??? Pictures tomorrow if i can walk

Too much money for what you get. Just book your golf and stay elsewhere. They gave us a small trailer to stay in for the night. No hot water for shower...no tv or radio....No coffee filters...No extras at all...The trailer was situated in a mud hole surrounded by water and gravel. Fire fit was sitting in mud and 6 in of water. Behind that was a huge mound of gravel and top soil. Went to club house on sunday morning to see if we could get a rain check. Was pouring down rain. They said no cant do that.. Would never go back. Buyer beware!!!

Well our weekend of golf is finished and I can't say enough about our experience this year. We have done this Stay and Play once before and enjoyed it but I must say this time your staff from the reservation people on the phone, to dealing with the staff and Scott setting up tee times at the course was a total Breeze. Nothing was ever too much trouble and every staff member we met greeted us with a smile. The accommodations were fine and we were quite pleased with our stay. Six of our players were new to the course and were suitably impressed. The golf course was in very good shape considering the amount of rain we've had in the last few weeks . We will definitely be back. Tom Blainey
