We spent 4 brilliant days in Celebration Cottage. Superb accommodation and lovely hosts. Everything you need for a quite and peaceful rest. Cromwell is interesting and central for visiting Queenstown and Wanaka. A visit to the old gold town of Clyde is a must. The dam that created Lake Dunston and the hydro station is spectacular.

What a lovely place to spend some quiet and quality time with the one you love. Cecilia and Daryl were great hosts, helpful and friendly. The moonlight cottage had a nice gas fireplace which came in handy for the cool nights. The garden vegetables for the guests were a nice touch! We loved the lettuces, potatoes, basil....and the walnuts! The...

This was our second stay at Burns Cottage Retreat. This time we stayed 4 nights in Rascal Cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a quiet, relaxing retreat in beautiful rural surroundings. The garden, deck and cottage are beautiful. 5 minutes drive from Cromwell township. We'll return again!

We were so fortunate as to have booked 3 nights from the get go and would have loved to have had even more time to spend. We stayed in Moonlight Cottage which has a super private terrace and still offers amazing views. The cottages have all amenities one can ask for including a fully equipped kitchen, a private BBQ, a...

Just 1.7kms off the main highway to Wanaka we came across this oasis. What a find. Set amidst gardens and streams is Burn Cottage Retreat. We too stayed in Rascal Cottage for 3 nights last week, modern spotlessly clean with everything we could want. Even got to watch sheep shearing - not the pet ones too young yet. Interesting talks...

We stayed in Rascal Cottage for two nights and loved it. Beautiful garden setting, with spring blossoms surrounding our private deck and lambs in the adjoining paddock. The cottage was beautifully appointed - luxurious super king bed, nice bathroom and comfortable lounge/dining/kitchen. A lovely quiet, rural setting - and just 5 minutes drive from Cromwell township. Highly recommended.

Our stay here was one of the highlights of the South Island. Beautiful location, relaxed atmosphere with a modern and luxurious cottage. Cecilia and Darryn were exceptionally accommodating and their breakfast, from local produce was a welcome break from the take-out and cafe food we usually have whilst travelling. We'll be visiting again. - Jess & Phred
