I would not take an 18month old and in fact would not consider taking a toddler. It is verrrry hot humid and the activities tend to be a minimum of two hours with very little to entertain one so young

We travelled there a couple of months back. Leech socks weren't provided but were available to buy in the shop for about £5. They worked great and we weren't bitten at all.
