What a charming 90 year old colonial spread! Extensive and gorgeous shaded grounds with monkeys, birds, and flutterbyes! Absolute care and mindfulness everywhere; from the bedrooms, the kitchens, the airy lounges and the terraces. The owners and the staff are delightful, thanks Mustaq and Kulzum! Nothing is too much trouble, service with a BIG Ugandan smile! Menu is good, and...

The rooms where super cozy for our knackered body. We enjoyed the food and the serenity. The facility reminded me of a hotel on a horse farm. Very countryside. The staff were great and helpful. I enjoyed my stay there.

Stopped over for early breakfast on our way to Murchison Falls. We were not disappointed. Firstly noted the clean surroundings and walking into the Dining area ,we experienced the lovely smell of freshly brewed African coffee. Next, greeted and welcomed by the staff,KEEP IT UP. This Hotel is in the heart of Masindi. Great location to stop for the night on the way to Murchison falls. Kind staff, decent room size, quite and some history. The morning buffet is good and the coffee is great. Food at the hotel is good but for some it could be a little over priced. Overall this is a...

The decor is more traditional but we were very pleased with the very clean facilities. No wi-fi that was very strong, but the meals were particularly good, self-contained rooms spacious and fresh. The staff were particularly helpful and good.

Given the lack of competition and the beautiful and historic building, the Management have a great opportunity to create a superb experience. However, apart from the cleanliness and generally friendly nature of the staff, there is very little to commend this hotel. It is very expensive, has tiny rooms with shambolic fittings, has a very noisy power generator that starts...

If you want to experience history and long for nostalgia then come in the evening and have dinner - come prepared however to wait over one hour for your steak. The food is good and the restaurant is charming and by far the best part of the hotel. However you would be daft to stay here for the night. You...

Wow! Like finding a dream-come-true oasis, this place was amazing. The grounds were spectacularly scenic, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere in several of the public areas made me not want to leave. Stay here if you need to stop in Masindi.
