We were supposed to stay for 3 days but ended up staying for 8. The rooms are very nice with a view of palms and the beautiful beach. Their curries are delicious and staff super helpful and smiling. I want to highlight Mogan, one of the staff, who was ever-smiling and cheery. The place is 15 mins walk/200 rps tuk-tuk...

Stayed for 1 night. Room was big and spacious, fan kept it cool. Bathroom was clean (but no soap). Smelt a bit of mould due to humidity I think, but sheets were clean and helped when all windows open etc. Wifi in public areas (not room) but very good. Beach side is AMAZING. Hotel is right on the beach, lots...

We were so happy to be able to extend our stay here from 5 days to 8, once we had fallen under the charm & beauty of the setting. About 6 budget rooms are in the old building off noisy Mahawella Road, so opt for the new building on the beachside. All 8 rooms here have large balconies, overlooking the...

We booked the room in the new building with the sea and glad that we did it. This is a family run hotel that has two buildings, the old and the new one. The old building, facing the road and the small town was out of consideration for us. Our credo is that for the beach vacation we need to...

I was injured coming to the Hotel and was in need of medical care. We could check in fast and the hotel owners daughter ordered me a Trishaw to go to the medical center and told the Trishaw driver to tell the doctor it's urgent and not to let me wait in the cue. Which was great because I was...

I didn't like anything about this place. It does not really achieve a minimum standard. The rooms are not cleaned and neither is the surrounding area of the hotel. Restaurant is dirty a lot of insect on the floor. Service is poor and restaurant food not good. I would never go back! They have so much to improve.

After 4 weeks travelling in Sri Lanka we've already decided that this is the best place to stay if you want awesome beach vistas, great food, super comfy, big beds and air con! (Trust me, you will really appreciate AC). The staff are all hardworking, friendly, gracious hosts and they keep the place spotless. It was in stark contrast to...

Thankfully a report on trip advisor prepared us for the state of disrepair at the front entry. we were shown to the new building with great sea views and new facilities.not a swimming beach. .A short tuk tuk ride takes you to the more protected beach area. Adequate as a stopover.

The hotel is situated on a beautiful stretch of beach. The new rooms are set back from the main road so the only noise you get is that of the ocean. The rooms are of a decent size, are clean and have good facilities including fridge, balcony overlooking the sea and a powerful shower. The older rooms are currently in...
