A wonderful hotel and we wished to have stayed longer. Beachfront balcony with spacious rooms. The restaurant is packed in the evening. A testament to the quality of the food. It's probably the best place to eat at the beach. Friendly staff and hotel includes all the little things to make your stay wonderful.

We stayed 10 nights here in December and what a little gem this place is. There are only 4 rooms which are well equipped with a TV (which has great reception), a fridge, Tea/kettle, ceiling fan and aircon. The room is pretty spacious opening onto a balcony(sea view) which has a couple of wicker easy chairs and a table. Wifi...

Thanks to Kingfisher and its staff my husband and I had an amazing time in Unawatuna! The welcoming, friendly and effecient hotel staff took care of all our needs and made sure we were pampered at all times. Our room was spatious, very clean and we had a great view of the beach and the ocean. From breakfast to dinner...

The hotel is pretty nice and the rooms are large but I found it a bit dated. Perhaps that is the look they are going for but I found the old locks inconvenient and not having a bathroom door was rather annoying. However, the food was great, the view from the balcony was superb and the staff were warm and...

Great location on the beach, the staff there are amazingly good and friendly and will do anything for you. The best restaurant also in the area. The rooms are very clean and modern and everything you need is within, a nice balcony overlooking the restaurant and beach.

Recently visited here for an evening meal. Excellent spot on the beach. The food was excellent, cocktails fantastic. The staff and the service 1st class. My only criticism was the stray dogs that wander about but that was the only problem.

A lovely hotel with great sea view rooms, lovely decor, great staff and delicious food. The hotel is spotless, the staff couldn't be more helpful. The hotel has one of the best locations on the beach. Their cocktails and fresh fruit juices are gorgeous. I would highly recommend and will definitely go back again.

Great rooms and Location. Food was Delicious and staff were very professional. Highly Recommended. Its at a great part of the beach, right in front of the reef so the swimming is spot on and not dirty.

This is a charming hotel right on the beach in Unawatuna. With only four rooms, it is easy to feel like a special guest. The staff is lovely and attentive, always with smiles! The rooms have AC, cable TV, overhead fan, and while the WIFI doesn't work in the room, it will work on the balcony. The bathrooms do not...

We were on Kingfisher in 2013, and lost our hearts to this unique place, therefore we have no doubt to come back. The place is still great, but it is as if the "special" has disappeared. The rooms are as we remembered, big, bright and with a lovely balcony. Too bad the owners do not care to maintain them, for...
