I went to Costa Rica in May and stayed at Las Cabinas La Tranquilidad. The trip was amazing. The hotel was beautiful. There were only a few cabins providing a very relaxing, quiet, calming environment. Also creating a somewhat private environment. The beach was right there providing an excellent view as well as the gorgeous view on the river. The...

If you need WiFi, turndown service, nightlife...don't come here. And that is exactly why I chose Palo Seco. You are truly on your own but the staff will help with anything and are a true joy. Brush up on you Spanish...it ain't Sandals, just much better. Ask Saide to get Carlos to take you fishing...it's amazing.

Brendan and his staff do a wonderful job creating a little safe-haven just across the dune from a long and empty, sandy and warm Pacific beach which you'll have all to yourselves at sunset. The shared kitchen and community area would be a fun place to share stories with other travelers, but we were lucky to have it to ourselves....

My friends and I had a wonderful experience in Costa Rica! If it wasn't for the help of Brendan ( the owner), we wouldn't have done and seen everything that made our trip so memorable! The place is relaxing and private, you get a great view of the ocean as well!

My 3 friends and i recently stayed at cabinas la tranquilidad. It was our first time in Costa Rica and we had such a great experience. The house was very clean, and Brendon and Sadie were very helpful. Brendon Scheduled all of our adventurous activities outside of the cabinas. We went whitewater rafting and did the canopy tours. The beach...

Took a group of 20- mission trip. We had a fabulous time. Great place, beautiful and very well kept up. Owners are fabulous, even loaned us their personal baby pack and play for the little one on our trip. The place is very secluded and makes you feel like you are in a real private environment, even with your own...

My stay at the Cabinas la Tranquilidad was my most enjoyable time in Costa Rica. The cabinas were spacious and nicely decorated, the grounds were very well kept with a variety of plants and trees (including coconuts!), and the staff was very friendly, hospitable, and hardworking. The setting of the Cabinas is what really sets it apart however. On one...

Cabinas la Tranquilidad is the perfect name for this property! A great place to relax with the ocean right by your side. The location is good because not only is it secluded, it is also very convenient to many of the popular sites in that part of Costa Rica. The owners are very nice and more then happy to help...

“Cabanas are more central to the property and face the pool. If the rooms are full, you might want to stay further from the kitchen to avoid TV/guest noise. The house faces the back garden and the kitchen there gets quite hot. But you will have lots of privacy and room to spread out.”
