Very good choice. Close to town, good breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, very friendly staff! Would have given it 5 stars if not for the hot water (very little...expect cool showers) and hard-ish beds. But you can’t go wrong with this place.

The lodge has about 8 rooms total, four of which are separate little cabins with two beds, kitchenette, decent bath. The breakfast was great, the staff was helpful and caring. We used the staff to make tour arrangements and their recommendations were great. Not expensive...More

Since all the reserves and tours charge entrance fees, they included transportation and pickup right from the hotel. The owners of the lodge are most helpful in making the arrangements and calling in the reservations for you. The town of Santa Elena itself is very small.
