Booking to stay here was a dream, always really helpful and responsive emails. Arrived to a super friendly reception, a clean room (which had the best shower I've had in Costa Rica!) and directions to places to eat (all delicious). First full day and had breakfast at the lodge. Excellent value, lots of choice and tasty local products (many grown...

We spent two nights with our two kids, in this charming and well managed hotel. We arrived very late at night and the guard received us very kindly. We were positively surprised by the well presented and assorted breakfast. With a perfect view of the sweet squirrels playing on the big and beautiful guayaba tree just in front of the...

There are 5 of us in this trip ( parents and 3 sons:18,21,23). Our cabin is perfect for us. Our sons are in the common area with beds for each of them while we have a comfortable bedroom. There are 1 1/2 baths and GREAT showers. There is a kitchenette which simplifies food issues. We can pack a picnic for...

Our family of four adults and two children stayed for three nights at the "vacation house", which is about a 10-minute drive out of town from the hotel. The hotel itself is very centrally located -- near the bookstore and a great walk-up taco stand -- while the house isn't within walking distance of much other than a bakery and...

From the time we first contacted Arco Iris, they were beyond helpful - finding us a shuttle from the airport, recommending local restaurants once we were there and helping to book a nature walk with a local guide when we wanted to see some more animals. The hotel itself is beautiful and beyond peaceful - the hanging hammock chairs were...

This place is so close to everything. Parking is ample. It has beautiful fruit trees all around that I picked fresh grapefruit from. There is a great filling breakfast: one of the few places that are open for those who want to start off early. The staff are even willing to microwave your leftover foods for you . |be sure...

The Arco Iris Lodge property is beautiful! The staff was so helpful from the start. They answered emails quickly and were easy to reach by phone too. In addition to accommodations, they helped us book a shuttle and a fantastic tour with a local guide we wouldn't have found otherwise. During our trip we got to check out a few...

Arco Iris Lodge is located right on the main triangle of downtown Santa Elena, but is at the end of a short lane that puts it comfortably away from the city atmosphere (except for occasional city noise). The rustic lodges are on a hillside with only a mountain behind. Even though you are very near downtown, you have the feeling...

We stayed here for two nights and were glad we chose this lodge. The property is secluded and beautifully landscaped. Rooms are large and clean, with a nice porch to sit outside and listen to the jungle sounds. We also had a great view of the fireworks display for the Christmas festival that was happening while we were there, amazing!...
