The city of Santa Elena was much busier than I expected, even though it wasn't tourist season. Cabanas Valle Campanas was so nice to go "home to." The cabin was great -- plenty of room for my family that includes three teenagers (two bedroom with 6 beds total is exactly what we need and hard to come by), and it...

This is not the large hotel tourist stuff but a nice warm family run business with 5 nice cottages. Received warm welcome by the oldest son of the family who took over an hour to cover things we could do and plan. Cottages are nice and we really enjoyed our stay here. Small negative point is the excellent wifi reception...

Our family of six just returned for our second visit in the last few years to Cabanas Valle Campanas, and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Monteverde. After two visits, we consider Reina and her family to be close and dear friends. We have traveled a fair amount and I don't think I could say the same about anyone else...

Cabanas Valle Campanas was recommended to us by a friend who had stayed there earlier in the year. My family of four, with two children aged 7 and 10 years old, enjoyed Valle Campanas a great deal. Reina and her husband Leo, the owners of the property, extended a warm welcome. Reina helped us with anything we needed, such as...

Dear Lucinda, We are pleased to know than you came to Valle Campanas by a reference of your friend and you liked your stay a lot. Our property is a located in a lower location than the cloud forest, that’s why sometimes you have more chance to see more birds here than in the Monteverde area , especially Toucans, Motmots...

We spent one night at Cabanas Valle Campanas, and could easily have made it a longer stay. While tricky to find, the property is a beautiful oasis under the trees. As others have said, Reina and her family are exceptional hosts. Everything is homemade from the delicious fruit juice upon arrival, to the berry preservs and hot chocolate at breakfast....

Dear azkiki, We very much appreciate your comment, It is nice to hear than you and your family had a pleasant visit in to our establishment. The house you stayed named Motmot was built with two bedrooms in the same unit thinking in families like yours. You are right, most we serve for breakfast is grown in our garden, including,...

My husband and I stayed three nights at Cabanas Valle Campanas with our two teenagers in mid April 2016. We loved everything about it! The cabin was very clean and spacious and it was great to have two bathrooms as well as a fridge and kitchen. The lush surroundings and garden made us feel as if we were in our...

A group of 8 friends stayed 2 nights at Valle Campanas in March during Holy Week. We were greeted warmly by Reina and she gave us refreshing juice. Reina is very kind and helpful with anything you need. The cabin was quaint and sufficient. We had sleeping space for all 8 of us, with 3 queen beds and a set...

We had an amazing time at Valle Campanas. Reina and her family were perfect hosts. She was kind enough to give us a tour of the beautiful property, complete with every kind of fruit tree imaginable, coffee plants, chickens and pigs and cows, and more. (We even got to milk one of the dairy cows.) Honestly we felt like other...

We stayed 2 nights in a lovely private cabin that looked like a small Swiss chalet surrounded by rolling green hills and gorgeous sunset views. This wonderful oasis is tucked away from the dusty road off Monteverde (this is the dry season and the roads get quite dusty) but the land here is gorgeous and green, green, green! Our hosts...
