We had a great time staying with our 3 kids at Valle Campanas. The cabin was well equipped, clean and the whole place is located in a beautiful setting. Reina and her family made us feel very welcome. Besides helping us with recommendations and booking for activities in the area, we all enjoyed all the activities in their local farm,...

In this touristic region, you will find true people in a new ecologic farm environement. Reina is here for you. She find us a very good guide for the natural reserve, advice us to plan our trip, and all that with a very gently and nice attitude ! If you go to Monteverde, go to her place.

We spent night here as a family. Reina was a very welcoming host. The cabin was very clean, with comfortable beds. There was quite a draft at night, but the weather was warm so it was not unpleasant. The gardens are interesting and beautiful. Reina gave us a tour, showing us the food they grow, and squeezed some sugar cane...

Cabins are very clean but Basic, speedy internet but only local TV. Refrid. Microwave and even blender. Grounds are fun to explore, plenty of bananas and other fruits and vegs. They make their own sugar, syrup and cheese. Breakfest is $7 but really worth it. They even have Pacas (in the agouti family). This place really compliments the hiking at...

We spent two nights at Valle Campanas. If you are planning a trip to Monteverde, I would highly recommend Valle Campanas. The cozy cabins are thoughtfully equipped and taken care of by Reina and her family. The second floor balcony of the cabin we stayed in offered breathtaking views of the rainforest beyond. The grounds are extensive and are open...

We loved our two night stay at Valle Campanas. I would not repeat all the superlatives from other reviewers but I can vouch that out of our 2 week vacation this place is where we felt the closest to Costa Rica and its spirit. Thanks, Reina and family

My family and I just returned from Costa Rica. We spent 4 nights at reina's. What a find. We loved our stay here in our cabin. Cabin was immaculately clean and well organized. The grounds are stunning and scream, pride of ownership. As others have stated, breakfast was the best, soooo yummy, great way to start your day. Reina was...

We had a great time staying at Valle Campanas and bird watching in Montevrde. The Lodge was very well maintained and the farm tour was amazing, we learned so much. Reina (The Lodge owner) helped us book our bird watching guide Adrian Mendez as well. Thank you very much Reina.

We shared a larger cabin with our friends and it was absolutely perfect, spacious and comfortable. Reina and her family made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and that feeling stayed with us. Her warmth, friendliness and outstanding hospitality made all the difference. We walked around the farm, admired the sunset and enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast...

Everything about our stay at Valle Campanas was amazing! The house was beautiful and immaculate, the food was excellent and Reina and her family made us feel like we were with old friends. Our only problem was that we didn't stay long enough to enjoy it even more. The gardens and the view were spectacular and we loved watching the...
